The Lyrics

In the cool of the evening when we were all a-watching our home
movies,
Oh, no! He will show up and ask if he can help with all that we
are doing.
We will say no, got it all planned just right,
Then some fool pipes up and says "All right."
Things get kind of crazy with klutzy people helping like you.

You always are a-messin', don't think you know that you are
stinkin'.
Don't dare let you cook a lot, it's for sure you'll burn the pans
they will be stinkin'.
You get confused, and you don't know where to stand.
You're without guile, please understand.
Things get kind of crazy with klutzy people helping like you.
Klutzy!

As you collide holding glasses in your hands my hair you are
a-grayin',
Please don't you fall with all that food that's on the tray I see
it swayin'.
You are just toast, you have been making me scream,
DON'T YOU TOUCH THAT!...my t.v. screen.
Things get kind of crazy with klutzy people helping like you.

Klutzy,
Klutzy,
Klutzy,
Hey whoa, all right,
I said klutzy!

It's downright spooky how well this fit the original. Well done, Pat.

Thanks Guy and Diva! I must be the all-time klutz champion...so I guess I inspired myself (while tripping over a chair and then stepping on a dog's tail...lol). I'm so bad that I even fall up the stairs, not down...true!!

Chip the cups and crack the plates, That's what dear Adagio hates. That's what dear Adagio hates. So carefully, carefully with the plates! Good one, Adagio!

Adagio, I somehow managed to avoid tripping over this trippy parody the first time around in November. But no parody can avoid my kneecaps the 2nd fime around if it deals with klutz-hood. One time I got home from work late on a Friday, I couldn't get in my own drive-way because some jerk had blocked it and I had to PEE like a racehorse. I frantically unlocked the front doored and raced toward the bathroom without even switching on the lights, forgetting I had moved a couple of end tables around the evening before. WHAMMO - BOTH knees whacked to the max and a Paul was cast in flight over the room, landing with a resounding "OOHHH F*CK!!! " Deep thought ensued, "this evening is not going well so far, not well at all." Your reward for writing this great parody and reading my above tale is three howling 5's sent screaming to you from the past darkness of my old living room floor in Inglewood.

Adagio, Well, OK - at least I had seen and voted on this tale of klutzdom. As I said the first time here, "Howling 5's from the past" from me...

A fun parody with a lot of appropriate substitutions for the original words.
