THE JET SET SONG

Opt for fast jets, you’re fast jets all the way
From your first solo trip to your last flying pay.
When you fly jets the whole world’s at your feet,
You’re forever well dressed and you hair’s always neat.
You fly in the air, and everything’s appealing.
Things happen up there, it’s such a lovely feeling
To reach the ceiling.

Flying on high is a wonderful thing,
Little boy you’re a man, little man you’re a king.
Flying on high with the greatest of ease,
You can do what you like and can go where you please.
Instructors all fight to teach the art of flying.
The students take fright, but though they feel like dying,
They keep on trying.

Here come the pilots like bats out of hell,
People get in their way, people don’t feel too well.
Here come the navs with their pencils and maps,
Though they often get lost they’re still jolly good chaps!
They sit in the rear, but never seem protected.
The pilot is near, but if the plane’s subjected,
Then he’s ejected!

Let’s get this aircraft up into the sky,
