Seriously, jonathan I haven't thought of the Knickerbockers once until right now ... I had to play the tune and then I remembered, "Oh yeah, those one hit wonders who sounded just like the Beatles."
555! Speaking of weird ties, my brother used to have the old 1977 Join the Pepsi People/Feelin' Free bow tie. He won it in a giveaway!
