Band name confusion: "The Mama's and the Papa's" on the debut album cover (note the superfluous apostrophes for plurals -- arrrghhh! -- which seemed to fade in and out over time) was later changed to "The Mamas & the Papas".

Solomon Turtle settles it: Even though their third album is *listed* at Wikipedia, and the photo *captioned*, as "The Mamas and the Papas Deliver", you can look at the *photo* of the album cover, and it's "The Mamas & The Papas Deliver", plain as day. (Ampersand vs. "And")
First album, as mentioned above: "The Mama's and the Papa's".
Second, third, and fifth (the last): "The Mamas & The Papas".

This particular OS was done for the first album. However, since they were best- and longest-known as "The Mamas & The Papas", it would be easier to stay consistent and cite all their OS that way. And less searching through the archives. ;) Hence, TT stays with the latter, as he did in his first spin of TOS, but won't argue with anyone who does songs from the first album, or the early singles, with the title as actually spelled there. Then there would be only two archive groups instead of seven. :)
The four that left off the "The" at the beginning or middle of either spelling are doomed to orphanage in the archives, and the eleven-song spelling is kinda' off by itself, too, unless ChuckyG is bribed heavily to change them after-the-fact. ;)
