Song Parodies -> "Captain, Lufthansa"

Original Song Title:

"Captain America Animated TV Theme Song"

Original Performer:

The Marvel Superheroes TV Show

Parody Song Title:

"Captain, Lufthansa"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

Germanwings Flight 9525...
'Cause Captain, Lufthansa toilet break did yield
Andreas Lubitz, Co-pilot, chose a closed door seal
Chose to take his life and passenger lives too
Into the Alps the A-320 thus flew
Not much left to collect in the scattered debris field

'Cause Captain, Lufthansa toilet break did yield
Banged on the door, made numerous urgent appeals
Tried hard as he could, but he couldn't get through
Airliner rapidly lost its altitude
Sight of the ground and their fate was grimly sealed

'Cause Captain, Lufthansa toilet break did yield...
Note: Some might find this cruel or offensive, but never should a single pilot be left on the control deck alone as Airbus and Boeing both have the ability to add a toilet and galley inside a cabin- they can because the Russians can do it with a strike fighter Su-32 Fullback!!! So, no excuses.

Nobody will think this is "cruel or offensive." Already you've gotten a 5 for "How Funny!"

No security system devised by bureaucrats can ultimately defeat someone who is determined to kill. What happens when a TSA agent flips out? Or a terrorist decides that attacking the security perimeter would achieve his goals? Wasn't there a previous case involving Air India in which a suicidal pilot decided plunge a full-loaded jet into the Atlantic? And will we ever know what happened to the Malaysian plane? Not a "funny" song, but song and parody was how news events were traditionally conveyed in medieval times, and no reason they can't be today.

O.K., I'm giving a 5 for "Matches Medieval Communications Style."

The votes for this submission is, unsurprisingly, a travesty. I urge honest readers to boycott voting.

Busted! There was only 1 hit (66) before I went to bed and then 5 pseudonyms showed up to voice their invalid complaints as hit 67!!! Since it is early AM here PST the fraudulent complainer is either European or Aussie. EST would only be early AM as well.
