The Lyrics

I know it's several years overdue, but... I wanted to say, "I'm sorry" to the members of this site. Sorry for all the times I went into an argument combatively, rather than de-escalating the situation; for the times I hurled insults at someone, especially when I was the instigator; the times when I criticized someone's parody simply because I thought it was low-quality... That is absolutely NOT how a Christian is supposed to conduct himself. This parody is partly about me, and partly about the type of "Christians" I've met at some churches, or come across online. To be clear, I'm not expecting this one post by itself will make up for everything. I just didn't want to leave people thinking that I stood by all the insulting comments I made.
(Verse 1)
Oh, they make sure to attend
Every Sunday service, then
It's back home where they hop onto the net
That's where they turn off their brains
So they argue and complain
And tear down people they've never met

(Chorus 1)
Looking so pristine
Acting cold and mean
All these fake, preened believers
Should read Matthew 23

(Verse 2)
One owes three months rent
Wond'ring where his savings went
Now he sees how life can be unfair
He asks his congregants and friends
If some money they could lend
They say they can't help, but he's "in their prayers"

(Chorus 2)
Got no verse to read
Won't help folks in need
For these faith-free believers,
That would be so beneath

What did Jesus teach?
Practice what you preach
All you fake, preened believers,
This is *not* how to be

(Chorus 3)
Their creed seems to be,
"What's in it for me?"
All these faith-free believers
Make a farce of Christi...anity

Looking prim and neat
Lying through their teeth
All these faith-free believers
Should be dragged through the streets

Welcome back! I missed you very much! Nice to see some refreshed talent unlike the_conqueror_of_parodies who thanks he’s gods gift just because he posts something everyday. His real name is Seth Retallick by the way.

What the hell kind of welcome was that, O Trollish One? You don't welcome one person while simultaneously bashing another
