The Lyrics

Thank you, my daughter, for coining the term "Trailer Park Pizza"

I got bread, a day old, at the bakery sale
Then coupons, that I delt, for cheeder cheese
A swath-- Italian gravy
Spead from seam to seam
Finsh with fomage, and let it steam

Now were say'in Grace
It's trailer park pizza!
Oh what a taste
I microwaved mine!
We got grub
(ooooooooooooo)
Trailer park pizza-- a new way to eat good-- on a dime
{ guitar riff-- followed by the clash of two pot lids }

I've got hugs, for serving lunch, with lesser things
Creamed tuna, ramen, rice --all taste like snot
What's the use in frying
All I get is flame
When I needed grocries-- I got game.

Now were say'in Grace
It's trailer park pizza!
Feed the whole place
for $ 5.99!
We got grub
(ooooooooooooo)
Trailer park pizza
The only thing cheaper-- is frito pie
{ Guitar riff-- followed by salt & pepper shaker moraccas }

Eat on paper plates...it's trailer park pizza..not a trace..... is left far behind
Trailer park pizza yea yea...trailer park pizza {fade}

A few typos, but a great parody. 555 pieces of pepperoni.
Tim Hall - March 14, 2004 - Report this comment
Great job, but since this is trailer park pizza, squirrel and possum would also be appropriate.
Jan Unwin - March 14, 2004 - Report this comment
yum....possum pepperoni

Diva, I Giva you 5s, but will have to reserve comment for now. Once "possum pepperoni" is mentioned, what more can one say?

Good recipe, Diva!

Diva - great job! Reminds of a roommate I once had (really bad judgment on that one). He carefully hid his Trailer Parkness from me until he was there about a month andthen he moved his camper into the backyard, followed shortly thereafter by every scrungy, ne'er-do-well drunken, flea-bitten son, daughter, cousin, ex-whatever that had ever drooled on his carpet before. Took MONTHS to finally rid myself of the whole bunch. UGH. 5-5-5.

She surely is Nina - And attsa spicy meat-a-ball of a parody. I'm going to cut and paste this song into my recipe book, you betcha. Three 5 topping pizzas for a job well done.

You all ! Opossom pepperoni would be the perfect topping. Thanks for saving my recipe !
Paul, the trailer park mentality. We have oppourtunity in this country, like no other. I guess people get lazy. They give up on themselves,and with that goes substance abuse issues, and low self esteem. I feel bad about the kids that grow up in that enviroment.. Hopefully, a teacher, or a coach can mentor them, and inspire them. Perhaps, the cycle will be broken, one day. My parents never had much money, but they showered us with love and moral support.
To my daughter: I love you & I'm so proud of you! =)
