Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

its the last frame in mudville
and there's much anticipation
we've been playing since four thirty
and we're looking for salvation
dump these foes
please go go go
please go go go

there were two outs without warning
and the batter up was flynn
weak with bat but strong with leather
but a single, he attained
our fervor grows
please go go go
please go go go
but we don't know if that runner's coming home

its the last frame in mudville
and we face elimination
its a hanging curve and...blake has kissed it
third and second...situation
whoa...please go go go
please go go go

its the last frame in mudville
and the final pitch is thrown
you can hear all of our noisy exclamations...as we groan
we're feeling low
oh no no no
oh no no no
and because of casey, no one's coming home

its the last frame in mudville
its the last frame in mudville
its the last frame in mudville

So, alvin...how many reader's out there are now going, "Uh, so what happened with that casey dude, man? I hate stories where they don't tell you how it ends..." lol...Great job of adapting the old "Casey At The Bat" story...gonna gives you three more innings with 5 outs in each one to drive home some points ~ ~ ~

Maybe Casey struck out, because they never had steroids back then....But that sounds like a whole new parody..anyway, you hit a home run with this, and right in season, too...

Oh, right here, in this favored land, the sun is shining bright. The bands are being mocked here, that's why our hearts are light. And right here, men are laughing, and right here, children shout.
