The Lyrics

Tights in Manhattan,
Woody Allen’s new flick.
Light on their loafers,
Perfume is their trick.

Previews I always miss,
With some buttered popcorn.
What happened to my clothes?
Why is my shirt torn?

Need to sew you.
Yes, I’ll sew you.
Oh, how I’ll sew you.

Staring at ushers,
Flashlight in their hand.
Not enough leg space,
Not enough land.

Parked my new Prius
In the lot by the door.
A cop gives me a ticket,
And threatens me more.

And I’ll tow you.
Yes, I’ll tow you.
Oh, how I’ll tow you.
Oh, how I’ll tow you.

Tire Pump solo.

Tights in Manhattan,
Woody Allen’s new flick.
Light on their loafers,
Perfume is their trick.

Previews I always miss
With some buttered popcorn.
What happened to my clothes?
Why is my shirt torn?

Need to sew you.
Yes, I’ll sew you.
Oh, how I’ll sew you.
Oh, how I’ll sew you.

Need to sew you.
Yes, I’ll sew you.
Oh, how I’ll sew you.
Oh, how I’ll sew you.

I thought this was going to be about the new Broadway musical version of "Billy Elliott" -- thanks a lot, Elton, it wasn't necessary! But Woody is so ripe for parody -- and yet, after almost 1,600, I've never done one for him. I should get to work.
