We’re fake rocking, succumb son,
Records broken and songs spun,
Guitar faking for dumb fun.

Star Trek plot I watch unfold,
As the Klingons are cajoled,
By Kirk on that show.

Why did Spock just glare?
Was Command hostile, unfair?
Was his phaser on stun?

I’ve seen solar flares revealed,
In a giant galactic field,
Such thrills I found and I’m hooked for more.

We’re all faking a stun gun,
Even though it’s a rerun,
Sci Fi watching for dumb fun.

Shuttle bus, where is it found?
At conventions all around,
Big stars overdue.
What cloak did you wear?
Did you plan a style for hair?
Did you greet anyone?

There are silly men by the door,
With heavy maces made of straw,
Who shill to find what I’m paying for.
