"Ruby Tuesdays"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

RUBY TUESDAYS

I would not eat there when in its' prime
Food was not that great every time
Salad bar-big deal
Just didn't have appeal
Big buffet, now goes away

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesdays
Stole your name from this old song
Filed for bankruptcy this blue day
Never gonna miss you

The world of dining in has gotten weird
You can't see peoples' faces through cloth beards
Say adieu to chains
And a meal not celophaned
And life is lost, it's too much cost

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesdays
Stole your name from this old song
Filed for bankruptcy this blue day
Never gonna miss you

Many jobs to lose, execs all say
Take their yachts and plan to sail away
No more wage or tip
Lose your job and lose that lousy pay
Your lucky day

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesdays
Stole your name from this old song
Filed for bankruptcy this blue day
Never gonna miss you

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesdays
Stole your name from this old song
Filed for bankruptcy this blue day
Never gonna miss you

Is the restaurant actually named for the song? Who would go to eat at "Sympathy for the Devil"? With all the weirdness today, who would go out to eat anywhere?

Yeah, Patrick, yeah!

Its highly likely that the restaurant is named.for the song. I recall the song came first and then the restaurant that I never once frequented came shortly thereafter ... And it had a hip 70-ish vibe to it, designed to attract Boomers

I'd try eating just about anywhere right now if I didn't have to wear this mask all the time

You just gave me an idea: I'm going to start a restaurant called Satisfaction. It will have a backroom of course, wink wink.
