Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Hey there, Georgie Bush
Did you start another war today?
None of your allies could even see any brains in there - inside you
Hey there, Georgie Bush
Why is everyone becoming poor?
Could it be you just don't try or is it the friends you have?

Your weapons of mass destruction never came to be found
The whole world thinks that you are such - an idiot

Hey there, Georgie Bush
You have ruined the United States
You're the one everyone hates and, oh, what relief it'll be
When the world sees you out Georgie Bush

----- instrumental interlude -----

Hey there, Georgie Bush
Dreamin' that you have intelligence
Life is not at the point you can't lock your records away
You should be scared of losing your presidency this year
The whole world thinks that you are such - an idiot

Hey there, Georgie Bush
You have ruined the United States
You're the one everyone hates and, oh, what relief it'll be
When the world sees you out Georgie Bush

(Hey there, Georgie Bush)
Get out, Georgie Bush
(Hey there, Georgie Bush)
Get out, Georgie Bush
FADE
(Hey there, Georgie Bush)
Get out, Georgie Bush

Okay - it made me laugh! A lot! But don't get your hopes up for '04 - he isn't going anywhere...

C'mon, it's early yet. Be optimistic.

Be optimistic is right. Heck, if the parodies are a reflection of the public opinion, Bush is going to have lots of time at the old ranch next year!

Just saw this one. I may regret saying this . . . I owned a 45 of this and used it often as a litle kid while playing DJ - I think the pacing was off. I'm biased, but it was well written and showed an educated opinion. But, along with the pacing, I took off for using "hate" and "idiot" - not telling you not to use them - but I thought that was too easy. You should have been flip or satirical here and conveyed the same message more effectively. (Besides, we don't want people to feel sorry for this guy because he's an idiot, do we?) bob

Tim H - Well, I like the sentiment & remember the original song. I found the pace slightly off, too - so I gave you 4-5-5. I see a lot of the public getting wearying of Bush and Co., - I mean, what's to like? The economy still sputters while he passes out dough to the well-to-do and Iraq is a bloody fiasco right now. I still don't know how these shifts will play out Electoral College-wise. I would like Kerry to find a way to come through clearer. I'm hoping for a November "Adios" for the Bushoids as well.

Wow, no one has discovered this song or made a comment since 2004? A friend turned me onto this site and song, I agree with the above comments re: pacing and content. Its too bad that people couldn't recognize the truth in 2004. We'd be out of there by now if Kerry had won.
