The Lyrics

CRINGE......
Oooohhhhh…
Date with mom; my senior prom
Embarrassed, mortified, harassed
Don’t wipe my face with handkerchief
Even geeks will give me grief
Girls avoiding, no romance
When mother says “Son, let’s slow dance!”

I hate ya, mom; I hate ya, mom!
I’m pissed witcha; ain’t kissin’ ya
I could’ve come alone
Or got some brewskis and stayed at home
Please don’t bug the DJ
(He’s) got no Elvis tunes to play…
Jeez, ma! Sheesh, ma!
Ain’t no fun, this date with mom

Janie Dunn; there’s Janie Dunn
I’ve had a crush on her so long
A dumb idea, perhaps
Mom showed her my nude baby snaps
And when she said I wet my bed
The honey fled

Ooh oooh, wish I was dead
Once again, you’re drunk
Seen my self-esteem? It’s shrunk!
You think you’re cool; you’re not
Called the prom queen a slut
Stop dancing like you’re having fits
There’s no way that you’re “down with the kids”…
Thanks, mom: my rep’s now GONE!

I need you like Nazis need Jews
Why do you act the way you do?
Ain’t been out since ‘92
Could you, like, get a clue?

Save me! Save me! No popularity!
Dog food, socially!
Do-o-o-on’t date your mom!

Won’t lose virginit-ay….
Don’t stare at me that way….

Ted: You're step-mom is cute.
Bill: Shut up, Ted.
Ted: Remember when I asked her to the prom?
Bill: SHUT UP, Ted! 555

I got red in the face just reading this. Wow... I surely hope this is not based on a true story.
Jack Wilson - October 22, 2007 - Report this comment
This was HILARIOUS, as well, as usual. 5s
Phil Alexander - October 22, 2007 - Report this comment
:-) (For some reason, I was thinking of Bill and Ted, too)
So when's the appointment with the shrink, Kristof? ISTM that this sort of traumatic event is bound to leave some psychological scars...

EEEEWWW! What PROM-pted you to write this? 555

Oedipus Reeks! ... So, Mom engaged in "baby love", huh? Wonderfully wacky and way-out. PROM-enade these Fives.

I wonder what the prom gowns looked like back in the '60s? 555
Kristof, This is your Mother - October 22, 2007 - Report this comment
Just wait 'til your father sees this young man, I never... He'll wail on you so hard you'll starve to death rolling. To think a boy like you could write such things about his very own mother. (sniff, sniff WAH!!!) I brought you into this world and your father can take you out, believe me. You never appreciate anything I do for you - whatever I do is not enough - I could give you the world with a white picket fence around it and you'd still want more. Blah blah blah...

McK: hehehehe. One point, though: Bill's mom was HOT!

Matty: Good heavens, NO!!! I just thought of the 3 most embarrassing things combined; parents, teenagers and social exposure....

Jack: You're now officially a mate for life. :-) Phil: see above reply, with added HOTNESS. As for the shrink; every Monday and Thursday, but not for the reasons highlighted in the parody

Ann: Cheers, m'dear!

Al: Cool! Cheers mate

PMS: Well actually, its for a contest...but a bit of catharsis is a good thing!

Mommy T: Oedipus? No, no, NO! Nothing like THAT...;-)

Jason: I would imagine not very revealing; that's why 60s guys always looked so uptight. ;-)

Mom..I mean, Mum: if you didn't live 10,000 miles away, I'd be worried. and anyway, I'm bigger than dad...:-D

Thanks, everyone!

What's worse than taking your mom to the prom? When she starts hitting on all the girls.... Like Steve Job's Macintosh, you, sir, are insanely great.
Guy - October 22, 2007 - Report this comment
Man your Mum is vicious and vindictive not to mention co-dependent. Does she always talk to you this way? No wonder you moved 10,000 miles away. Who could blame you? And take it easy on the old man - you should really just pick on people your own size. I'm b*tch slappin' fives all up on in this one. Great work as usual Krisof!
Red Ant - October 22, 2007 - Report this comment
There's always one MILF a guy would never do, and you just HAD to write about her! You're a sick puppy, Kristof. Loved it.
stuart mcarthur - October 22, 2007 - Report this comment
I just cannot believe you mother did that to you in front of Janie Dunn, Kristof - that's pretty well dashed your chances now, dude - I'm starting to think your "mom" (er, "mum") is your muse, Kristof!! - sickenly funny embarody - 555
Phil Alexander - October 23, 2007 - Report this comment
A rather techie thought has just sprung to mind... I've heard of RAM, ROM, PROM and EPROM: this is the first EwwwPROM I've come across, though.
Andria - October 23, 2007 - Report this comment
Funny, funny, funny: I liked this parody, it was close enough to the OS for a 4 for pacing, and it gets 5s in all other respects. I never went to prom for reasons like having no interest in rap and hip-hop (that's all they play at proms now, or so I've heard), having great difficulties in finding partners despite being a gorgeous redhead and for my loathing of the public school industry's obsession with conformity. 455

Rex: aw, shucks! But you've got me thinkin' about that whole mom/lesbian interface...;-)

Guy: hehehe. My real mum's nothing like this, btw. And dad's pretty cool, too

Jack: lol! But let me reiterate: NOWHERE in this parady did I elude to motherlovin'...ewwww! ;-)

Stu: Well, mums in general (the last one...the stripper...was actually Johnny's) And Janie's not returning my calls :-(

Phil: You nerd! :-D

Andria: Thanks for the vote. While I disagree with you on the pacing, I'm glad you enjoyed the humour. And kudos for rebelling against the sheep!

TJC: Grassy-ass, amigo!

"I need you like Nazis need Jews" - Made me laugh, but isn't that a lot because Nazis wouldn't be Nazis without killing somebody, and the people they killed were Jews. So don't they need Jews. I think you meant it the other way, but it was still a good line, and a great parody!!!
Andria - November 04, 2007 - Report this comment
Matthias: The Nazis also killed disabled people, Polish and Slavic people, Gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Jesuits and Catholics, among others, not just Jews. I thought you'd like to know that.

(Decathlon 2.0) You poor bastard. Excellent work as usual!
stuart mcarthur - November 12, 2007 - Report this comment
(dec2.3) and if she WERE "down with the kids" well that wouldn't be a good thing either - so either way, it was a bad decision, KR
Arwen - November 12, 2007 - Report this comment
Decathlon...up to your general standard, Kristof...you really SHOULD have stayed home though...at least then you could have made up a cool excuse as to where you were...; )

Hilarious song...I was going to ask if your mom was hot too, but at least one person beat me to it :)

(Dec2) Honestly Kristof, this wasn't my favorite by you. . .I had a little trouble following the pacing, and moreso, the rhyme scheme. . .but I thought the idea was very cute, well actually the idea was pretty incestual, but still funny.
Mikey Squirrel - November 13, 2007 - Report this comment
DEC2- Wow, that's really embarrassing. It'll take years of therapy to recover from that, or maybe three 5's will help. well done, Kristof.
