Parody Song Title:

"The Crazy Things Yo Mama Do"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Cappin' on yo mama, old school R&B style.
The way she howl at night
Yo mama coulda been a hounddog
The way she scratch and bite
She coulda been a rabid groundhog

The way she smell like dirty feet
She coulda been some gorgonzola
Yo mama so damn cheap
She coulda been a used Corolla

Well, she oughta live in a pen at the local zoo
Cuz they repel
The crazy things yo mama do
(The crazy things yo mama do...)

The way she make me sick
She coulda been some milk gone sour
If bad breath was a minute
Well, she'd be 57 hours

The way she blow bad farts
She coulda been a mess o' methane
She think she so damn smart
She coulda been our president's brain

Well, I'd like to send her to Baghdad or Kathmandu
Cuz I'm repelled
By everything yo mama do
(The crazy things yo mama do...)

Yo mama such a byach
She coulda been a German shepherd
She always pull the switch
She pass me salt instead o' pepper

Well, I don't know what I was on when I married you
She give me hell
Especially when the rent is due
(The crazy things yo mama do...)

The crazy things yo mama do
(The crazy things yo mama do...)
This damn apartment sucks......
(The crazy things yo mama do...)
I owe her fifteen bucks.....
(The crazy things yo mama do...)
Her cookin's just not right...
(The crazy things yo mama do...)
I lose my appetite...
(The crazy things yo mama do...)
She make me get a job...
(The crazy things yo mama do...)
All day it's "Bob, Bob, Bob..."

The worst thing with Mother-in-laws are that when you look at them, you know you´re looking at your woman, her doughter, 25 years from now...=8-()

Johnny: thanks, dude, you crazy commentator!
Melhi: I'm sorry, what does "round of the dozens" mean? Is that a cricket term? Thank you anyway, very much!
John B: glad you enjoyed it, keep up the great work.
Know1: AAAAAGH! My 25 years is just about up! =8v{} Thanks for the comment and emoticon!
Leah: thanks for your comment. Brand names make great rhymes because they surprise us and create a visual image at the same time. d;:^)

Bob, playing the dozens (some people call it "snaps") is when you take turns (in order, if more than two people are playing) hurling insult/punchlines, usually "Yo Mama is so (fat, lazy, etc.) that....." insults. So, a round of dozens would be one turn (insult) from each of the participants. I looked up a URL that would explain it better than I can http://www.online-magazine.com/snaps.htm and has several funny examples.

(this is what I get for trying to squeeze in a reply to something while I'm working on something else in another window.) I meant to add, that I've only seen more than two people playing on television/film (back when I was a kid... can't remember what I was watching) and that I referred to the above as a single round, instead of a game, (without thinking about it) because I imagined that you brought us in at the end of what had been a long exchange just as you were getting in the last words by verbally waling on your "opponent." (In the dozens, that's called "winning," in domestic squabbles, it's called, "not getting any in the foreseeable future." Hee hee!) Once again, loved it... great work as always, Bob!

Kristof R: Thanks a bunch, glad you enjoyed it. Remind you of someone you know?
Melhi: Thanks for the explanation. I would really love to see another writer take this song and do their own version. It was a lot of fun to write, with a fairly easy rhyme pattern to follow.
