Wasn't a big fan of Alice Cooper, and I need to really like a song to get the parody muse going. So here's a GOT (which has lots of cosplay elements to it) themed parody to a song that's been an earworm inside my brain for 50 years. The Wilding is, of course, John Snowe's girlfriend, Ygritte. There are only two stanzas to this song, but I added a third ... for Ygritte

Nice blending of two iconic GOT characters in the one parody CML - one I adored and one who scares the bejeezus out of me - but then I know nothing John Snow - although I do know that Ygritte is just as cute in The Good Fight - 555
A whole slew of women on my paternal grandmothers side (to include Grandma) were Red Irish, Stu so I definitely cotton to redheads -- and Rose Leslie is as cute as they come ..... And dont be hating on the Night King; maybe he's coming south to restore peace and harmony to Westeros
Tho' not familiar with most of the references I got the point, 5's, Agree with you about working with songs I like, and since I'm not a fan of A.Cooper I'm ambivalent about looking into many of today's postings - maybe later tonight.
I didn't know that was the "Wight" way to spell that character's name...
Being a fan, I GOT all the references. And ooh! Ygritte! Mmmm. She was a real bundle of energy, wasn't she? :) Lennie, weren't they Wildlings, with the extra L? My hearing is shot though, so now you have me wondering!

There is a way to settle things once and for all, Pippin. They got something called Google on the internet of things where you can look stuff up, so-o-o ....... (Clickety-clackety-clackety-click) .... A-a-and it's "Wildling"
Has anyone ever performed or recorded this? I would pay for that audio file!!
Not that I know of. Maybe I can get Sam Kinnison to perform it. He did a parody of "Wild Thing", right? So, what's he been up to, lately?
CML, he's been dead since 1992.
I know, Ag. I met him once, two years before he went viral in 1985. I saw him on the undercard to some non-entity named Joe Restivo. Imagine seeing this guy in a small nite club with a audience of a couple dozen when he starts in on his Kinison ranting. I was right up under him too. Thing is, before everyone KNEW he was funny, Sam could be pretty off-putting, especially to women. I was thinking to myself, "Jesus, this guy is unique." ........ Halfway thru his routine, Sam had to crush a female heckler, so now he's pissed off all the women in the room and he's bombing big time!! But he was highly skilled so he recovered; I think it helped his morale to see me and my buds laughing our asses off. At one point, we were the only people "getting" him ...... So a few days later, when I approached him (same club) he was happy to talk to me
