Parody Song Title:

"Circumcision"

Parody Written by:

Agrimorfee

The Lyrics

From the rock opera Mommy.
The wife and her spouse were one night aroused
About an issue worth relating
The topic of circumcision for baby boys
Got the couple to debating
They saw a talk show discussing traditions,
And of hygiene and of The Messiah
They had never disagreed about the baby's life
On any subject prior!

They shared in their heart
All things at the start
Who knew that these two would be worlds apart?
That the Mommy would say: "Cut the part"
And Daddy: "Leave it be"

(Mommytobe:)
To do circumcision, it makes sense to me
Let me have my say
It was done for my Dad and his dad
And they do it everyday
It makes his little thing look pretty
And will make him feel more macho
He won't feel like he's in the minority
With his extra little "pancho"

(Chorus): They shared in their heart
All things at the start
Who knew that these two would be worlds apart?
That the Mommy would say: "Cut the part"
And Daddy: "Leave it be"

He won't have to put up with the extra cleaning
Of the buildup of smegma
When he gets to the puberty stage
He'll avoid the social stigma
A report I read said it helps against cancer, STDs and impetigo
And then there is also my mother, bless her heart
Who says that it really should go

(Daddytobe:)
Your Mom? She's crazy!

(Narrator:)
Daddytobe nearly enraged
His control near lost, a chair almost tossed!
He wasn't acting his age!

So when his hot feelings got cooler
The husband asked his wife to listen
Daddytobe just had to give his two cents
On why they should keep the foreskin

(Daddytobe:)
I think that God made us what we were meant to be
In our skin, our height, our hair
If it wasn't for the story of Abraham
Would anybody care?

(Chorus:)They shared in their heart
All things at the start
Who knew that these two would be worlds apart?
That the Mommy would say: "Cut the part"
And Daddy: "Leave it be"

(Daddytobe:)
Now when he sees the guys in the high school gym
Maybe there'll be some tears
But I'm sure he'll be thanking
Us as he grows into his years
The sensitivity for his "little guy"
Will add so much to his late night
With good care and proper maintenance
His girlfriend won't mind the sight

It's not that crazy!
How can we debate this?
Little Baby doesn't get hurt very much?
The cruelty of a bris!!!—Ouuchh!

(Narrator:)Sixteen minutes passed that night, then the man said,

(Daddytobe:)"Sweetheart, ya know I love ya
Let's leave it all up to fate and kismet
Here's a coin, I'll flip ya"

(Narrator:)Mommytobe decided that day
To call her option "Tails"
Daddytobe flipped the quarter in the air
And lost another one for the males!

Deep down in their heart
Right from the very start
On this issue they were worlds apart!
But like Mother Mary said to Sir Paul,
"Let it be, let it be!"

Oh dear....now I am picturing that part in the movie.... :-P And for some reason "Sally Simpson" keeps turning into "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard". But I digress - great parody.

That has to be the most epic song about a penis that I had ever read. Good job?

(ABC4) Same sentiment as Matthias, but I prefer 'Bris'. It's a bit more catchy. 555 snips of your *****.

(ABC4). . .also liked that line. . .sorry that my comment isn't to my normal degree of consistency, having a rather bad day, but it was a good parody.

ABC4- Well, this was definitely a cut above the rest (ouch). Kudos to rhyming listen with foreskin. Good job, Agri.

I was sure this was going to be a Satisfaction parody. Mikey beat me to the cut above the rest line (well done, Mikey!)

(The Who) Upon second reading, i have to say Pancho is my favorite line. . .I won't say who's side I'm on in this parody's topic, but safe to say you covered both sides of the argument well. Pacing was good, but not perfect, still great job.
