I think this country’s bane

with statements semi-sane.
Then , like a rabid squirrel,
I find I’ve lost my grip
and soon I’m typing twaddle
from foaming fingertip.
Folks claim I dodge their queries
when my rants they take to task.
Untrue! I answer ev’rything
(except whatever’s asked).
I think because, Right-thinking,

Alas, as I present it

the Libs I love to dis,

Why am I always picked on?
I don’t know!
I’m misunderstood.
In parodies I sacrifice
song sense to politics,
concentrate on rants I
always pre-and post-fix,
instead of finding clever ways
to let the words themselves
get across my message
to who for message delves.
I think folks
should love my parodies
despite that well-
made ones are rarities!
How I love to trash Obama,
Hillary still more!
Disparagement I dish out
but don’t say what I’m for,
just as is where I say
my adversaries stall.
I’m deaf, dumb, close-minded …

I think I know who this is about. Although I'm saddened by the controversy over the weekend, I must give you credit for letting the parody "do the talking", and not volumes of pre/post comments. That, at least to my understanding, is what this place is all about.
Im not making any accusations, but I have a STRONG idea over who left that triple-1 vote. No matter Stan, you are becoming very good indeed. 5s all round.
I think we all know who left the triple-one. Give her a chance, and she'll leave you TWO long comments on why. Some it might even be legible!
Too bad you couldn't get this in before she was banned. Would have been interesting to see her rebuttal parody.
I don't know, but I think ChuckyG and Red Ant are heavily enforcing the ban on Linda Terhune (and possibly her new name linkis)
I am aware if Linda was still around, she would have been writing whole encyclopedias about the above parody.
I don't know how IP banning works. so I couldn't say whether Linda's comments are automatically being blocked, or whether Red Ant/ChuckyG are manually removing any comment she attempts to post.

As for LT--and I said the same in the "Change, Change Change..." comment stream--I'm sorry to see her actually banned, and would have preferred managerial action to constrain the extent, not the content, of her--or anyone's--extra-parody contributions that wander into the realm of redundant ranting. Shrug. (AAMOF, I'd have been interested to see any forthcoming "rebuttal" parody, despite that this one is, as its postscrit clearly proclaims, about myself.) :-)
