Song Parodies -> "The Vegetable Song"

Original Song Title:

"See Me, Feel Me"

Original Performer:

The Who

Parody Song Title:

"The Vegetable Song"

Parody Written by:

Bob Gomez

The Lyrics

"You're A Vegetable" by Royce Miller inspired the vegetables to respond with a song of their own.
The Vegetable Song

Clean me
Feel me
Shuck me
Peel me

Ream me
Dice me
Chop me
Slice me

Sow me
Dig me
Pluck me
Pick me

Seedy
Meat-free
Love me
Eat me

Bursting with juice
We are the veggies
Crunchy and cute
We're not like meat

Better for you
And your digestion
We make your diet so complete

We remind you
Of your resilience
Stay firm
Despite the heat

Swallowed and chewed,
Mixed with saliva
We are excitement when you eat

Nourishing you
Vitamins, minerals
Surging through you
Carbos supreme

Energize you
Lighten your spirit
We give no nightmares, just good dreams

Fiber-filled too
Cellulose in us
For you
Feces we're softening

Polishing you
We find the polyps
Flush your intestines and your spleen.....

Clean me
Feel me
Shuck me
Peel me

Ream me
Dice me
Chop me
Slice me

Sow me
Dig me
Pluck me
Pick me

Seedy
Meat-free
Love me
Eat me

YEAH! I love looking through older parodies - especially when I unearth a 555 carat gold nugget like this one!

Great job, but don't forget Brian Wilson's Vega-Tables from his SMiLE and Smiley Smile sets

Montezuma's Revenge had a song on one of their albums titled "The Vegetable Song." Written in the early seventies. Not a parody, but much cuter.
