The Lyrics

they say that the devil's hard to weather
that's why we've tied you down with tethers
i'm an exorcist...just a catholic guy
you look pretty bad, but my hopes are high
the sacred things i read are all consecrated
some puke may be flung, but i'm dedicated, yeah

(exorcist)...i'll use some tact
(exorcist)...i see right through ol' satan's act
(exorcist)...i wear all white, when i take a crack
(exorcist)...i'll get to the root of this vicious attack

i was born with a silver cross, in god's house
i'm doin' battle with the beast...and that beast is all about
but now i dare to look him in the eye
most catholics fear, but i will try
its a genuine problem...you may die
when shaken up, please call...i'm just the guy...just the guy

(exorcist)...i hate him
(exorcist)...he's back again
(exorcist)...that lousy bum
(exorcist)...i'll blow that dude to kingdom come

i'm an exorcist...i'm a catholic guy
you look pretty bad, but my hopes are high
the sacred things i read are all consecrated
some puke may be flung, but i'm dedicated, yeah

i was born with a silver cross, in god's house
i'm doin' battle with the beast...and that beast is all about
but now i dare to look him in the eye
most catholics fear, but i will try
its a genuine problem...you may die
when shaken up, please call...i'm just the guy...just the guy

(exorcist)...i hate him
(exorcist)...he's back again
(exorcist)...that lousy bum
(exorcist)...i'll blow that dude to kingdom come
(exorcist)...i'll use some tact
(exorcist)...i see right through ol' satan's act
(exorcist)...i wear all white, when i take a crack
(exorcist)...i'll get to the root of this vicious attack

What? The great Johnny D doesn't know this song? The early Who classic? I recommend you rent "The Kids Are Alright" Very cool movie.

This one was perfect. And your labor day comment was a hoot too Alvin! ;-D

Lovely, Alvin - some wonderful lines. JD -the original line to that one is "I look pretty young, but I'm just backdated", so Alvin's take on it fits perfectly (even if he is a bit capitally-challenged ;-) )

I only know the original song for its use in "School of Rock." But I thought that your Exorcist parody was even more clever than my two Exorcist parodies. I gave you all 5's just for a) doing a Who song, and b) doing a parody of the scariest movie of all time!
