Song Parodies -> "Simpson, J Homer"

Original Song Title:

"Crimson And Clover"

Original Performer:

Tommy James and The Shondells

Parody Song Title:

"Simpson, J Homer"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

He's a masterful "Doh"-er,
And his belly's all blubber,
Simpson, J Homer.
Ah, and he drinks Duff's tall boy foamers,
No one's IQ is lower,
Than our boy Homer.
Homer, oh Homer.

And his boss, such a mean thing,
Want's to own everything,
Greed is way worse than stealing.
Dim-some old Homer,
Never get's over.

Little Maggie's his flower,
She is really a lover.
Simpson J Homer.
Ah, and so his wife's quite a comber,
Her blue hair's quite a tower,
That's our boy Homer.
Homer, oh Homer.

Ah, his mind's such a meat thing,
Challenged by near everything,
But he's somehow appealing.
Simpson, J Homer,
Homer, oh Homer.

Simpson, J Homer, never gets over.
Simpson, J Homer, never gets over.
Simpson, J Homer, never gets over.
Simpson, J Homer, never gets over.

(Repeat to fade)

Some people might read this and think it doesn't rhyme very well. Well, neither does the original. And yet somehow I never noticed until I wrote down the words one day. I fact, I think you added rhymes. If you havent seen it, check my "Barney Gumble" That had lousy rhymes too.

Rick - Thanks for seeing this and pointing it out. I had my doubts about writing it this way but parody does mimic the original so I went with this version. Thanks all who comment and vote. Much appreciated.
