The Lyrics

This song is in support of Army LTC Allen B West being court-martialed for protectinghis troops. See Story:http://washtimes.com/national/20031028-113335-6042r.htm
Was it a blunder? How do you plea?
Saddam still resistin' most defiantly.
His nose he was thumbin', loyalties changin'.
West was dutiful, pistol drew persuasion.

Just gettin' ready for some kind of fight,
Just needed an answer, can't be polite.
So what was the plot now? Attack from behind?
So he took some control and got in his mind.

Pistol drew persuasion, mm-hmm.
Opened conversation,
Pistol drew persuasion, pistol
Drew persuasion.
Stoppin' some sorrow in some small town,
Their fate he has unsealed, no one's in the ground.
Protecting his children, guarding his station,
He kept peace and stood as he should.
Pistol drew persuasion,
Pistol drew persuasion...

Wow - what a polar opposite vibe from the original song's happy-hippy-peace-and-flowers sound! Good job, Guy.

Yeah, after I wrote this, one of the people here at work that reads my parodies is a retired army colonel. He actually knows this guy. Trouble is he tells quite a different story than the news does. He may not be the hero he appears to be after all. Will have to watch the news features on his upcoming court martial on both liberal and conservative news outlets.

I'd like to hear both sides, the only people talking about this story are the conservative talk hosts.
