Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

If the phone call is that important, pull over. If not, tell them you'll call 'em back! This is another one for my suggestion of an "I Can't Drive" concept album.
Whose life you save? Shoulders and head are still together.
And watch how you drive! I don't understand, and so you're
talking just as loud as you can
holding on the wheel with just one hand!
Trying to drive away into the night
and then you swerve to miss a bicycle
and cops, they pull you over and they say:

"Hang up the cell phone now!
You're driving worse tonight than anyone around!
Hang up the cell phone now!
The screaming of your voice is an ugly sound!"

Look at the sway! You gotta hide all your driving.
And what can I say if you crash anew, and so you're
talking just as loud as you can
holding on the wheel with just one hand!
Trying to drive away into the night
and then you swerve to miss a bicycle
and cops, they pull you over and they say:

"Hang up the cell phone now!
You're driving worse tonight than anyone around!
Hang up the cell phone now!
The screaming of your voice is the only sound!"

Hang up the cell phone now!
You're driving worse tonight than anyone around!
Hang up the cell phone now!
The screaming of your voice is the only sound!
(repeat 'til fade)

To quote Mike Pacholec, Didn't I already do "Is that your cell phone now " on the same topic?

Not even close. My song is about people talking on cell phones while driving and the dangers thereof.

I loved the original song, and I love this version. Dang, you guys are good.

I see you read and commented on my version of this parody! Did you notice that I quoted you as one of two other people who wrote it already on this site? (I stated that in the heading paragraph, under the title before the first verse of the song.) Now who is "Mean Howie Dean"? I don't mind being the third person to write this parody, the recording that Rick and Mari Duncan recorded contained part of this parody at the end. That is why I decided to do mine, but as I said, it's not regarding the hazard of using you phone while you drive - it's how they can irritate other audience in a movie theater! I do like your version very much, however! Rick D even left a comment about my parody too.

This also oughta make a good anti cellphone policy for movie theaters! Excellent!
