Parody Song Title:

"I'm a Clone"

Parody Written by:

Rick Duncan

The Lyrics

One doctor took some human genes
Another doctor made some human beings
Another raised them up, a happy home
One of them was me, and I'm a clone

My name is Two and I'm just so mad
They do experiments in their lab
Yeah, I feel yucky and don't go anywhere
Spend mornings taking tests with my spare

I'm a clone, I'm a clone
And the counterpart I visit
Is a clone, is a clone
But when I call he says "Who is it?"

Wear this eye patch, read this card
What's this blot mean, it's so hard
Take more blood now, skin and bone
Jump through hoops now, little clone

I'm a clone, I'm a clone
And the counterpart I visit
Is a clone, is a clone
But when I call he says "Who is it?"

Wanna be someone who's unique
Have a home, not be a freak
Leave the other twenty-three
Wanna see someone who's not me

I'm a clone, I'm a clone
Yes, my counterparts come visit
On the phone , on the phone
And when they call I say "Who is it?"

I recently read "Never Let Me Go," a Booker prize finalist, and I can't reveal the story but it takes you DEEP into the issues of cloning - still can't get the book out ofmy head - loved the delightful "visit/is it" couplet, Rick - 555
