The Lyrics

backstroke lawyers always hiding 'neath the stories,
'till I talk on the news and I say,
I say you ain't seen nothing'
'till the year 2000 and your sure to see a permanent change,
when I saw a computer,
it was a real nice builder,
all the times the date can be missed,
because the best things are going and they ain't slowing',
and I knew a glitch would be on its way, today,
reading and reading with the machines at the school
and the sparks flying up in the air,
programming c++ pascal pascal
with many lives in the middle of this problem like they didn't care,
so I took a big take at the military base with a computer that was ready to play,
wasn't me it was fooling'
'cause I knew what I was doing when I programmed it for Y2k,
and I called it
Y2k
Y2k
Y2k
Y2k
Y2k
Y2k
Y2k
Y2k
the computers will glitch like this
Dell, Gateway, with their classy kinda sassy little hard drives made for pc,
there was three presidents of three different countries when I realized they were waiting for me,
I was an honor student always messing with computers,
until I found out something I missed,
then my next door neighbors with a computer had a favor,
so I stopped just a little glitch, like this,
reading and reading with the machines at the school and the sparks flying up in the air,
programming c++ pascal pascal
with many lives in the middle of this problem like they didn't care,
so I took a big take at the military base with a computer that was ready to play,
wasn't me it was fooling'
'cause I knew what I was doing when I programmed it for Y2k, and I called it
Y2k
Y2k
a problem on the way
the computers will glitch, like this

Not a bad parady, but I didn't find it funny. When I read paradies, I expect them to be funny, but there was nothing in "Y2K" that cracked me up. Maybe if you wrote a curse word or attacked George Dubbya, I would have laughed then. I'm sorry that I have to criticise you, but I thought I better let you know that if you're going to do a parady to a timeless Aerosmith song, please make it funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
