Parody Song Title:

"Unbiased Folks"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The verdict didn’t prove
It’s alright to use a gun
What might be right for Zim
Caused the death of Trayvon

The man is scorned
He was profiling
There’s another view:
The words of Martin Luther King (Jr.)

Takes unbiased folks to beat racist dopes
It takes unbiased folks
It takes unbiased folks (Yes, it does)
It takes unbiased folks to change the world…

George Zimmerman had a reputation for being a considerate, helpful man who got along well with all his neighbors. Just a day or two ago, he is reported to have pulled people to safety from a wrecked car. For good people to survive, they have to recognize that not everyone is as peaceful and tolerant as they are, and have the effective means to deal with them.

The facts are that Zimmerman, despite his concerns, was not authorized to pursue Travoy Martin who was armed with Arizon Ice Tea and Skittles and Zim's intent was questionable. Zim criminally profiled him due to all the robberies in his hood and made his decision based on unreasonable suspicion (probably race-based) and while carrying a concealed firearm. Even he admits that he should have not gone as far in retrospect. Even if Travoy attacked him it was b/c he was fearful of this creepy white guy following HIM in the dark night rain. He probably felt like he needed to protect himself and threw the first punch (best defense is a good offense) and _maybe_ he reached for Zim's holster (his prints aren't on the gun) or just that area, forcing George to panic and pull the gun to shoot him in the chest and kill him. I support Zim's right to be suspicious and to have called 911 and also to carry a concealed weapon for his personal protection- no question. But he should have let the police do the investigating. Trayvon was not guilty of anything that night except walking home from the store with junk food... so DID he have to die for it? No. Zim should have gotten manslaughter but got off b/c the all-white female jury pursuaded half the jurors to change votes based on confusion over how the law was read and their instructions per the judge. There WASN'T really reasonable doubt. George pursued and stalked Trayvon, got into a fight, and killed the teen. I was once followed in a bad part of my own neighborhood and had to pull a knife on a guy who tried to assault me with a bat when I was a teen. My crime? Being in his part of the hood, having come from a Circle K. I could have been killed or assaulted for no reason as well, but always carried a knife for protection. I still do at age 49. I have a Puma since I do not have a CCP for my .40 and even if I did, a gun is a weapon of last resort to pull and only if you intend to really kill someone. If not, then don't get one (a firearm of any type). Hunters exempted...

Err... sorry for some typos on Trayvon's name earlier.
