As far as I'm concerned, it's "Barack", where the "ack" has the same vowel sound as "cat". You wanna say "Ba-rahck", go right ahead.

As Dogbert once tried to explain to Ratbert (with little success), people neither want politicians to lie to them, nor to tell them the ugly truth. Barack is apparently attempting one of the middle routes: saying nothing as grandly as possible.
Or "Brack" Obama, as some of us like to call him; it's a fitting name for a source of so much hot air and empty noise.
