The Lyrics

I attempted to parody the entire musical "Jesus Christ, Superstar". I have gotten halfway through, eleven songs worth. My intent is not so much humor, but to incorporate as much as I could a history of the Beatles, through the eyes of a young fan. I have listed the songs this way so they will appear in order on my list. Here's song one and two today.
Where'sJC SUPERSTAR PARODY-SONG #2

WHERE'S THE FABS? (What's the Buzz)

BEATLE FANS:

Where's the Fabs? Tell me where they're happening

DISC JOCKEYS:

We will play you songs and albums
It's all part of Beatlemania
Even tell you where they're playing..

BEATLE FANS:

When are they going on Ed Sullivan?....

DISC JOCKEYS:

February ninth, and we're giving out some tickets
Lucky fans will get to go
If you answer just one question
You might get to see the show....

BEATLE FANS:

We want Fabs! Let me see Ed Sullivan..

JESSE'S MOM: (To Dad)

Let me try to cool down your rage a bit

JESSE'S DAD:

That sounds nice, so nice
Mother that sounds good
How I love that Belafonte
And the jazz greats of my day
How I love to hear the music
Of Kate Smith and Doris Day

BEATLE FANS:

Where's the Fabs? Tell me where they're happening.................

This will continue tomorrow...

I'm putting them on for you, Johnny. Looks like I'm developing an anti-fan club.

I'm lost Rick, this doesn't read like the original tune, looks like scratch notes...of course my JCS source would be the original recording w/ Ian Gillan of Deep Purple as JC and Murray Head as Judas...you working off of some other source?

Agri, I'm working from the libretto that came with the 1970 album with the people you mentioned. The chorus lines "What's the buzz, tell me what's a-happenin'" repeat four times each, but they only printed them one line each time (to save space, I guess). I actually used your Pink Floyd opuses as an inspiration. You have a more "free train of thought" style that I went with, letting the lyric take me along to odd places. Mari remarked that it wasn't as funny as my usual meanderings. It being somewhat autobiographical, I went with anguish instead.
