The first parody I ever wrote! Dreadfully politically incorrect, but it was the '70's so I can be forgiven.
Her name was Ethel
She was a dancer
She'd belly dance to groovy sounds
Though she weighed 300 pounds
And she loved Tommy
Who was the bouncer
He'd bounce the drunks right out the door
As Ethel bounced around the floor
He'd watch with lov-ing eyes
Her bod's e-nor-mous size
Like the waves upon the ocean
It would fall and rise
At the Kitten, the nightclub Kitten
The only spot Ethel could fit in

Folks take their chances when Big Ethel dances

They fell in love.
His name was Sammy
He laughed at Ethel

He said "Good God! That broad is FAT!"
It got to Tommy
Who beat up Sammy

This was fantastic work, Bentley. I'm impressed that you did not stoop to include filthy lyrics, as do so many sub-juvenile parodists here. The person who gave the 1's must be mortified because of his/her own humongous size.
Through the years I've been called on the carpet for this one by Manilow fans, feminists and the people of the whole Fat Acceptance movement (I, myself, support a bit of an averdupois) but if we're so uptight and constipated then why are we here? I appreciate the kind comments from y'all!
