Song Parodies -> "4MT (and all the rest of Chucky's security codes)"

Original Song Title:

"Let It Be"

Original Performer:

Beatles

Parody Song Title:

"4MT (and all the rest of Chucky's security codes)"

Parody Written by:

Stuart McArthur

The Lyrics

some of Chucky's security codes are really startin' to freak me out...

when across a clever line I stumble
in a clever parody
I think it deserves some
commentary

I type my humble message
and then three black letters do I see
there to help Chuck's new sec-
-urity

4MT
KRV
B2B
MND
must be copied metic-
ulously

and sometimes to my great astonish-
ment (though they're picked randomly)
there will be a meaning
spookily

I cannot help but contem-
plate the eerie possibility
some parodic spirit's
watching me

PMT
KFC
HIV
TNT
what's somebody trying
to tell me?

GOB
BLE
DYG
OOC
surely there's some wisdom
there for me

[ deep and meaningful instrumental ]

UND
ISC
OVE
RED
should I solve it or just
let it be?

And when the night is cloudy
and I'm trying hard to get some sleep
crazy thoughts present them-
selves to me

I toss and turn, and then toss harder
(tossing is quite fun you see)
as I try to solve the
mystery

just maybe
MSB
stands for "Me
Sleepless Be"
if so, then it's come true
freakishly...

could it be
MGC
stands for "Me
Go Crazy"
that's come true as well ap-
-parently

Clever work, Stu. Loved "gobbledygooc" and "undiscoved". "(tossing is quite fun you see)", heh heh. The oddest one I've gotten so far was "FUX". Sometimes a captcha is just a captcha. 555 is the code here. (actually, it's PJ6 - hmm...)

Brilliant parody about the new installed security codes. I loved the line, "Tossing is quite fun you see"... All I see is a "GFE" seeing how that is my code presently.
Jason - May 15, 2007 - Report this comment
I like this! My code for this one is 798 for some reason! I wonder if anyone has ever had TSB as a code!
Kristof Robertson - May 15, 2007 - Report this comment
Wonderful, Stu! Nowadays, I always look to see if the code somehow reflects the parody I'm commenting on...today I've got JST, which would fit in this parody, and could stand for Jocular Stuart Triumphs! 555

LOL beofre I read this I scrolled down to see if 4MT was actually the code, its actually ETV ( hmm ETV aka spoiled party girl television) anyways back to this fives from me!

This is hilarious!! Especially the "spellings" of gobbledygook (that's how we spell it in the us, btw) and undiscovered. ;D It gets a 5-5-5 (which, for the record, is NOT my security code). In fact, it's TSB. (J/K!)
Dylan Baranski - May 15, 2007 - Report this comment
Well, I never thought that you'd write a parody about that! 5-5-5 just for exploring new territory! Also, my security code is NN9 (which sounds like the name of a submachine gun).

Just brilliant, Stu... in a few incisive stanzas you've knifed to the core of my (and apparently all of our) unvoiced superstitions... Damn, there it goes again... how does know I'm a pathetic YNR?

Great work and theme, as always...a blockuster! This code is UW5...U Win 5's
John Barry - May 15, 2007 - Report this comment
Fan-tastic! Code is X55. The X stands for 5.
alvin - May 15, 2007 - Report this comment
funny concept...i commented on a song the other day about paris hilton and potential cellmates and the security code was 69Y
MasonR - May 15, 2007 - Report this comment
Great idea! Now I need to find the hidden meanings behind my security codes. Hey, looks like SNW!

thanks Red - do ya reckon it wasn't hard work coming up with 12-letter words whose 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th letters all rhymed with "be" - "gobbledegook" was a real godsend -"undiscovered" less so ;-)

thanks Matthias and Jason

thanks Kristof - imagine how much more jocular I would be if I wasn't up all night worrying about the KKK and the FBI - not to mention TMG (Ted Mulry Gang)

thanks Jack :-)

thanks Hollajuku - of course we spell it "gobbledegook" too in Australia - it's just that "k" doesn't rhyme with "be" so I used "c" - artistic licence claimed

thanks Dylan - I wanted to be the first topic-wise!

thanks TJC but I've been paranoid about Yugoslavian Nightie Raiders all my life, and now I discover you're one of them - there goes tonight's sleep......

thanks AFW and JAB - or is that AWA and FJB? :-)

thanks alvin - in fact I'm sure it was your comment about 69Y and another similar comment about the codes that day that gave me the idea for the topic

thanks Mason...thanks Ann

WTF? We need to send a PDF to Chucky, PDQ, to get some answers to this enigma, LOL. 555, QED!

This is a random one. I liked it. By the way, my security code right now is "4CG." *Types my security code into the security code box*

ABC5(#/Symb) Funny observations on a subject we all think about frequently when posting comments!!!...IMO some of the security codes I've seen are much too meaningful to be considered as randomly generated!!!...555!!!

(ABC) ICU wrote a clever PDY. AOK! 555. G4N (this entry's security code).
DJ Blaze - December 28, 2009 - Report this comment
Not bad! I get some weird ones too, like FMA (Full Metal Alchemist, an anime), D2R (a techno song), and I might have seen DJB (DJ Blaze!!!), 555

what's somebody trying to tell me? . . .Uh, based on what precedes it I'd say that Kentucky Fried Chicken may cause an explosive situation which may require a payment for medication that if you have HIV you should consult a doctor before taking. TWS is mine, doesn't really mean anything, but eh, I felt since the parody makes use of it, I'd mention mine. . .Interesting parody Stu, and expertly written. . .a little bit of an AmIRight specific, but that's OK for this site.
