The Lyrics

my friends...
seems my muse has gone off-duty
i've been tryin' to write...see ?...but hell
i fear it ends up goofy
got...no...answers...yeah...i guess i've lost my stuff
but i wanna spread the news
though i sure been real good and confused
i'm gonna creep on fruitlessly
until my muse erupts
until my muse erupts

you authors
sittin' right down...and you knock off three
it galls me that my awfully fickle muse...
has just walked on me
and it sure has been hell...yeah
but soon this block may move
i said, brother, if you only knew
my mind, i am about to lose
i'm gonna creep on fruitlessly
until my muse erupts
until my muse erupts

oh sometimes...yeah...
its true my muse has acted cruelly
i wanna please the crowd, but trust me, people
i haven't had much fuel in me
but oh, lately...lately...lately...lately
had a hunch as my mind felt a tug
i-i-i-i-i wanna spread the news
though i sure been real good and confused
i'm gonna creep on fruitlessly
until my muse erupts
until my muse erupts

squawkin' 'bout my muse and me
if my muse rescinds, then write, i'll do
its too damn bad she's been abusin' me
cause i sure am sad and blue
i hope my muse comes through
uh-huh...i hope my muse comes through

The most relateable parody I've read in a while. 5s "got...no...answers"; if you're referring to lack of comments as of recent(ly?), there's been a bit of discussion on the messageboard regarding this.

Turn your ears away,
from the weirdness Weird Al plays,
to the Garden of Grosvenor's Gross Delights...

...and listen to The Muse of AmIRight!

God help us if your muse truly deserts you, Al...Amiright would be a duller place. 555

Erupting muse? I like the concept/visual! 5's

what you need, alvin, is a good ole Dick Cheney misadventure or a Paris Hilton indiscretion - that'd get the muse going - 555
