Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Don't go changing
to try and please me.
I gave up on that long before.
Mm-hm-hm.
I don't imagine
you'll drop the Tolkein.
I don't expect that anymore.

I would not leave you
'cause of this difference.
My brain is not warped out that far.
Mm-hm-hm.
I like the long times
at theater's lines.
'Cause you are still my Evenstar!

I'm not sure 'bout
your elven fashion.
Wrote parody about your clothes.
Mm-hm-hm.
You flung your handbag
with lots of passion.
Flashbacks of pain inside my nose.

I need your witty
conversation
the kind I can't get at a bar.
Mm-hm-hm.
Those girls could love me.
But you'd do better.
That's why you're still my Evenstar!

I need to know that you will always be
the same girl who has lots to give.
Ah, but what will it take 'til we can really see
I'm not Viggo and you're not Liv?

Ah, I said I love you.
At least I think so.
Is that good enough for a start?
You're pushing my heart
up to the brink so.
But you are still my Evenstar!
Right!

(saxophone break)

I need your witty
conversation
the kind I can't get at a bar.
Mm-hm-hm.

I just want someone
who puts up with me.
Can you do that, my Evenstar?

DRemember TOS here Michael but I do plan on getting a Billy Joel Greatest Hits soon; oh, I also got a Gordon Lightfoot best hits and am a fan of "The Wreck" now; it'll be a while before I parody it but you might see a "Sundown" parody soon from me.

Michael...(pause for ridiculous amounts of grinning and adorable tilting of head)...

...I'm just a little bit more than tickled with this...and I don't honestly know where to start...but I will say this. You can bet your ass I'm not Liv...I'm WAY hotter...; ) Not to mention that I'm the one you adore, and she's married to that weird looking guy from Radiohead...so...I think we all know who got the better end of THAT stick...

And to answer the question...considering that I've been doing it for almost two years...I'd say that putting up with you is chore that I can handle...=)

Honestly, this is VERY sweet...thank you Thank You THANK YOU...mmmwah!

It's Tolkien. You have ten days to admit you misspelled someting.
Arwen - October 10, 2005 - Report this comment
Oh oh oh...let me get right to the very edge of my seat. What happens at the end of ten days?
Michael Pacholek - October 10, 2005 - Report this comment
What happens at the end of ten days is RoboCop takes out his .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and it can blow my head clean off, so he's gonna ask me if I feel lucky... and then I use my Jedi powers to fry what remains of his central nervous system and I say, "Luck's got nothin' to do with it, ya dumb bucket o' bolts!" And, like your fave Huey Lewis (now starring as Billy Flynn in "Chicago" on Broadway), I'm doin' it all for my baby, 'cause she's as fine as she can be.
Arwen - October 10, 2005 - Report this comment
LOL...I just realized that the Spelling Robocop misspelled "something." Heehee...

And Michael...while I'm doing that stupid grin again...and I'll be singing "Doin' it all..." for the rest of the afternoon...

...I'm actually not as fine as I can be. I get finer and finer with each passing day, so it's more than clear that I'm not even close to capacity when it comes to fine-ness...; )

Unless, of course, you're referring to some other baby...she might be as good as she's going to get...I don't know...

I stand corrected.

=) You are adorable, Mr. Pacholek.

[turns to mirror] It's "something." You have ten days to admit you misspelled someting. [turns to Pacholek, Michael] You now have eight days to admit you misspelled someting.
