This song was done as an assignment for English class, on which our group got an 'A', largely due to the performance of this song. It is about Ray Bradbury's book, "Farenheit 451", so I would ask that you not vote for the song, unless you know the bases of the book, so it makes sense to you. Thanks!

I've never read the book, which probably keeps my view of the humor from being a 5, but this is better than Cliffs Notes. One of the better BJ parodies (and I've done about 30 myself, so I know, though most of mine are now too out of date to go on this site).
Hilarious, simply hilarious. Much better than the political PM parodies so many people (including me) are writing. Now write Eric Burdon's Spill The Wine and replace it with Dandelion Wine..

If you don't mind, I'll gives ya 4-5-5 despite not reading the book. It's a decent read and the rhyme scheme and pacing were very good. My '4' is due to your use of (bridge) and (Chorus) in the way you submitted it. It would read a lot better if you just typed it out. At least, I think it worked well when I did a parody of 'American Pie' about 'The Godfather', the book, and 'Honor thy Father', another book. Oddly enough, that got's me an 'A' in the class I did it for too. It's quite a skill you develop when you come here, isn't it?

Didn't read the book, but saw the movie, and consider this to be an excellent parody. Very good, unforced rhymes, and I liked "montag-onistic."

It's more than twenty years since I read Farenheit 451 - can't say that this stirred any memories, I'm afraid, but it's a damn good parody.

I just read this book for the first time and was kinda burned by it so I looked around online for some reassurance and found your song. You did a good job transmuting a book into a song
