Parody Song Title:
"Scenes from a French Resturant"
The Lyrics
Bottle of white, Bottle of red. Maybe a glass of Coke instead. All the tables are near the street, in the most romantic place. You and I face to face.
Bottle of red, Bottle of white. Don't let the escargot lose your appetite. We could make 'lamour if you want, near the French Resturant.
(Sax Solo)
Things are all right for me these days, I work at Six Flags and greet the people. I had a wife, but I had no life so I left the family. I lost touch a long ago, was it Penelope? I don't know. But she looked awful nice with a white stripe on her back. Do you remember when I chased you around the Eiffel Tower? I was Napoleon I said 'Divide and Conquer'! It was Paris in the springtime, everything was green! Great times in the city of lights, with those sweet romantic...Paris nights.
(Clarinet and Trombone plays.)
Louis and Marie wern't the popular scene when they king and queen of the French. Riding around with the carriage roof down and livin' in Versais. Nobody looked any finer always a hit at the ballroom dinner. And they always looked down at the French pesants and their lives. But Louis and Marie always knew how to survive. Louis and Marie were still going steady around 1776. When they decided to marry it would around the springtime. The French said Louis' crazy. And Marie thought Austria was too lazy, but still they both had royalty in their lives. But here they are waiving Louis and Marie goodbye. Well, they lived in a palace in the city of Versais, and gold imported from Spain. And slept in Louis XIV bed without Louis XIV's brain. But the Frenchmen did fight when the money got tight and they both didn't feel their pain.
(Sax Solo)
They lived very nice in the luxury style, but it's always the same in the end. The both lost their heads when the Revolutioners said, 'The monarchy was dead'! Now the king and the queen are digging up daises and the French had Napoleon instead. Napoleon ruled the country of France back in 1801. He had high he had lows 'till 1815 when he was totally gone. He couldn't go back to his country. The best he could do was stay in St. Helina. But he knew he had find a way to get by. But that's all I know about French history, I could tell you more but the song go too long. And here we are waiving Jacques Chirac goodbye.
(Orchestra Solo)
Bottle of red, no wait bottle of white. Whatever. I'm in the mood for 'lamour tonight. 'Cause that is all I really want. Now let us leave the French resturant.
(Sax Solo until end.)
