The Lyrics

Never been there, but so what.
(piano opening)

It sits there on the lake, where it faces sunrise.
There between Green Bay and Milwaukee, it lies.
It’s to the southeast of old Menominee.
It’s not my home town.
It’s Sheboygan, Wisconsin to me.

The people there root for the Packers and Brewers
even when those teams smell very much like the sewers.
To go there, you take Interstate 43.
Yeah, the traffic is bad.
It’s Sheboygan, Wisconsin to me.

Oh, never been there myself.
To Milwaukee I’ve gone
if for only one time.

Oh, but Blue Harbor Resort
it looks like lots of fun
so I might change my mind.

And it doesn’t look much like the Garden of Eden.
But a day or two there might just be what I’m needin’.
And the Johnsonville Brats, they’re the wurst they can be.
Go and eat ‘em all up.
It’s Sheboygan, Wisconsin, yummy.

(hums)

Oh, never been there myself.
To Milwaukee I’ve gone
if for only one time.

Oh, but I’ve written this song
and inspired I am
so I might change my mind.

And I don’t think this fact will upset us or scare us
but it was home to the Chordettes and coach Rick Majerus.
The world’s basketball champs in 1943.
Look ‘em up, the Redskins got those basketball wins.
From Sheboygan, Wisconsin, you see.

Brilliant concept well executed. Could be the first of a series of parodies about towns with funny sounding names...like Spionk and Nyack New York, and Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ!

I didn't really lay down the gauntlet, ya know ... :-)
Did ya get all that info from the Sheboygan Tourist Bureau? Funny stuff 555

I was packing my bags for a lovely Wisconsin vacation, but I totally lost all interest as soon as I read "Rick Majerus." Being from Wyoming...and having lost one too many games to his freaking Utes back in the day...I'm not allowed to do anything but hate that guy...and everything associated with him. Forever. Or else I would cease to exist.

When you go to sheboygan, don't forget to visit Manitowoc. Although, it's too bad the Happy Schnapps Combo disbanded.

Seems like some old TV star was from this town, but I can't remember who it was...good job, here

In "Some Like it Hot," Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis, in drag, said they were from the Sheboygan Conservatory. Like this parody, their grades were all As.

Considering my hometown's called Wagga Wagga, I really shouldn't laugh at Sheboygan. I will, however, laugh at this parody. 555
