Original Song Title:

"She's Always a Woman"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Billy Joel

Parody Song Title:

"He's Always George Dubya"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

Dedicated to Michael Florio, who did this song for Bill Clinton, a far better man and a far better President than his successor. Obviously not related to Jim Florio, the former Governor of my home State. Maybe Jim, a former Golden Gloves boxer, can teach him some manners.
He'll seduce with a smile, while he's squinting his eyes.
He can talk about faith, but his own is just lies.
And he only reveals what he wants you to see.
He acts like a child but he's always George Dubya to me.

He didn't need votes, he can take you or leave you.
He don't care about truth and he'll always deceive you.
And you'll take what he gives you, 'cause you're no longer free.
He steals like a thief but he's always George Dubya to me.

He can't take care of himself.
On a pretzel he choked, or was it vodka and lime?
Oh, and he never gives back, and he never gives in.
No change in no mind.

He promised is more than the Garden of Eden.
Then he carelessly cut us, and laughs while we're bleedin'.
And he brings out the best in the worst we can be.
Blame it all on the Court, 'cause he's always George Dubya to me.

He can't take care of himself.
On a pretzel he choked, or was it vodka and lime?
Oh, and he never gives back, and he never gives in.
No change in no mind.

He tells us he's kind but he's really so cruel.
He thinks we support him, but who does he fool?
And we know he's convicted, of a DUI spree.
And he cheated Al Gore but in 2004
we will beat him and then we'll be free.

Woah woah woah, It was BILLY Florio that wrote "Hes always Bill Clinton to me", not Mike Florio...learn to read.....now, second part..both me and Mike are related to that corrupt black sheep of the family former governer of New Jersey..he's a distant cousin.....third part...Bill Clinton is an embassesment to the country...fourth part...well there isnt a fourth part, but learn the right information..I dont like my parodies being credited to my brother (especially the good ones!)..... Jim Florio..hahahahaha..didnt he have like the biggest re-election defeat in Jersey history? Jersey hates him! hahahaha (this is why my family doesnt talk to Jim anymore) hahahahahaha

yep...it was Billy's song...speaking of that you kept most of the origional lyrics...as did Billy in "Hes always Bill Clinton," common smears in political parody writing...its usually a good idea...and Jim Florio is DISTANTLY related to us...
Michael Pacholek - January 29, 2003 - Report this comment
Actually, Jim WON the second-biggest landslide in New Jersey gubernatorial history in '89, and lost the two CLOSEST in '81 and '93. I guess he was too distant to teach you anything. But you can see why I couldn't tell which brother was which, since you're about as interchangable and Georgie and his "smart" brother Jeb. As for "Bill Clinton is an embassesment to the country," at least he won twice, which is more Presidential elections than the entire Bush family combined (losses in '80, '92 and '00, a win in '88), and he can spell "embarrassment." He can also say "nuclear" properly, as in not "nucular." Apparently, however, the most he will do is throw shadows at you, but he'll always be a successful President to me.

"at least he won twice, which is more Presidential elections than the entire Bush family combined (losses in '80, '92 and '00, a win in '88)" Um...I generally don't get into political debates, and have no love for the Bush clan, but they have two Presidential elections (they did win in 2000), which is the same as Clinton. Does that make them good presidents? I'll leave that to someone else =)

#1. Im sorry I spelt embarrassment wrong..its called a typo, I hit the wrong buttons and didnt check the spelling. #2. The election he lost to Christine Whitmen (i think that was 93), was one fo the biggest embarrassments in Jersey history I beleive, since Jim was not expected to lose. #3. How bout his recent Senate run (or nomination run)..how bad did he lose there? Pretty bad as I remember.... #4. Im glad Jim didnt teach me anything..I wouldnt want to learn how to be corrupt #5. Now, I have my problems with Bush too, during the election I was a Mcain guy (and youll notice how Im embarrassed to say that now), but last time I checked, George H. W. Bush won in 1988 on the presidential ticket, he won in 1980, and 1984 on the vice presidential part of the ticket (with Reagon of course being the president), and his son George W. Bush won in 2000 (and dont give me any of that election recount bull, cause if anyone actully listened to the news youll realize that 4 independant agencies completed the recount in early 2001, and found Bush was the actual winner by somewhere around 100 votes..it was close, but Bush still won) ,now with that, I must ask what presidential election Bush lost in 1980? #6. So a few words were mispronounced, I think everyone has mispronounced words in the past. What is everyones problem with that...wait, it might depend on your definition of IS.... #7. Were you blind for the eight years during 1993-2000? #8. I'm a political science major, I know this stuff like the back of my hand, do not think you can pull something in front of me..Ive already analysed Clintons presidentcy inside and out...youre not fooling anyone #9. A cheap shot, but you really didnt change half the words in your song

My comments refer to your remarks at the beginning: so people who don't share your politics need to be taught a lesson, eh? That's the Left's defintion of free speech - they'll fight to the death for their right to shut you up. I have news for you: there are several million Americans who went to war over the last 60 years to fight that mentality, and could teach you a lesson about freedom, only a lot of them never made it back.
neminem - February 02, 2003 - Report this comment
I just want to say one thing. That quote, "I disagree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." I know it's over-used, but it doesn't make it any less genius. I am very left-wing, and freely admit to such. I don't know where this came from: "That's the Left's definition of free speech - they'll fight to the death for their right to shut you up. " We'll fight (hopefully not violently) for your right to argue as well as our own. Denim, your words fight against you: "only a lot of them never made it back." Why'd they have to go die in the first place, hmm? WW2 was necessary. The Korean war, the Gulf war, and especially the Vietnam war were STUPID, POINTLESS bloody wastes of many lives and billions of dollars! Furthermore, you seem to equate going to war with the continued ability to have free speech. I fail to see any connection. IN FACT, almost any time there's a war, our rights are summarily taken away for security reasons! I don't argue that some left-wing people also want to take away the right to free speech - I disagree with them, too -but right now, I'm most worried about the Patriot Act, spearheaded by Ashcroft.

Reply to Neminem - 1) My statement was intended as a deliberate takeoff on Voltaire's. The same people who supported the Free Speech movement at Berkeley in the Sixties are now imposing speech codes. The difference is, they're in charge on most campuses now. And that statement about Jim Florio and his Golden Gloves teaching right-wingers a lesson sure sounded like a threat to me. 2. Now for History 101-Look at North Korea under the great helmsman Kim. Tyranny, man-made famine, cannibalism, infanticide-that's what the whole Korean peninsula would be if we hadn't gone to war in 1950. My son (adopted) was born in South Korea. Had it been north of the line in the Workers' Paradise, he would not be alive today. As for Vietnam, I had friends and classmates who didn't make it back. You could say it was "all for nothing" only because we were unsuccessful (not on the battlefield but in the media), but we were right to ty to stop them. Look at what's happening to the Hmong - being literally crucified for their Christianity (thanks a lot, Fr. Berrigan). Ask one of the boat people how it is in Vietnam today. I'm guessing from your nom de plume that you're probably of Hungarian descent ("Nem" means "no" or "not" in Hungarian, hence "Not Eminem" -but then if I guessed right, you know that already.) I had relatives who had the privilege of being arrested by both the Nyilas ("Arrow Cross" - the Hungarian fascists) and the Communists. Those who weren't imprisoned had everything they owned confiscated. I'm eternally thankful for those two retired actors, Reagan and Wojtyla, for helping bring down the Iron Curtain, I'm only sorry my father couldn't have lived to see it. 3) Some things we're doing in the name of homeland security worry me too - this effort to gather total information on everyone. I don't think it will get that far. But I'd respect the sincerity of the Left a little more on this issue if they had spoken out, even gently, about Janet Reno's tactics when she was in office. If you did, I missed it. I apologize to the moderators of this site for getting far afield from its purpose, and I will stop now. If You, Neminem, or anyone else wants to continue the controversy, we could exchange e-mail addresses and take it off-line.
