(Instrumental Introduction)

I can't stop this killing,
Deep in my psy-che.
Girl, you'll meet your de-mise,
At my hostelry.

I will coldly,
Bring you harm tonight.
Can't let you go,
Mother does incite.

I-I-I-I-I, I'm hooked on the killing,
High on the bleeding,
As Mom keeps buggin' me.

Gripped in heat, I'm randy,
Mom's chaste, my play's a crime.
Mom, you have really cursed me,
As you sit there at your shrine.

It's too damn bad for you girl,
My highway sign did lure.
You must play the victim,
Mom says that you're impure.

All the spewed blood,
From a knife well honed,
Cheapened up girl,
Throw and squirm, then gone.

Die-ie-ie-ie-ie, you're shook and you're chilling,
Dying and heaving,
Now you're luck's history.

(Short Instrumental Interlude)

Gone's your good luck,
Now it's you I own.
Deep my thrusts hurl,
Badly burned, you're gone.

I-I-I-I-I, I'm hooked on your reeling,
You die unbelieving,
To go so lovelessly.

(Instrumental fade out)

Harry - I must digress. Alvin Rhodes is the originator of the Bates' parodies and I am merely in his shadow. I learned from the best. I am Alvin's number one fan on Bates horror parody. He has inspired every one that I've written and the best part of it is that he has never accussed me of stealing his thunder. In fact he encourages me to write them. Thanks for your high praise but Alvin does truly master Bates.

Hey, Guy! What's up? You and Alvin are spectacular Bates related parodists. Although I am a big fan of Alvin's Bates/Psycho related parodies, you did a great job at the song you wrote! Lyrics are a quite a view to a kill! This is one nail-biter of a song! As Harry says, a great slasher! 555!

Christie - Believe it or not, I had never seen the Psycho movie until about a year ago. I wrote my first Psycho parody based on what I gleaned from Alvin's expert writing. He is that descriptive of a writer. I wrote several more of them and Alvin urged me to get the movie and view it. I tried buying it but I could not find it anywhere. I eventually rented it. I was surprised to find that there are three sequels to the original. I purchased all three and I continued to write Psycho parodies based on the sequels. Alvin and I tend to feed off of each other in our writings. I can't say that I have ever seen him write a bad parody. Alvin originated the Psycho horridies and I tended to write quite a bit of mob parodies - my first was to the Billy Joel OS Piano Man called Paisano Man. I was able to convince Alvin to write a mob parody once and he did a great job of it. I wish he's do another.

I thank you for the boost you gave me with your comment. Comparing me to Alvin is indeed quite the complement. Much appreciate!

marion crane's screams of horror could not be heard over my own screams of laughter...top notch stuff....a big improvement over the original hokey song

Alvin - I am pleased that the Master has enjoyed this latest penning of a Bates horridy. This means a lot to this writer. Thank you Sir Alvin.

Cold guy. Briilliant, but cold...
Guy - April 10, 2009 - Report this comment
Malcolm - It would not be true Bates without being cold. Thanks.

Since all the "master Bates" jokes have been done repeatedly, I'll just Leigh these Fives on you.

Mr. Tortoise - but alas I can find at least one more. It has been with Bated breath that I have awaited your commentary. Thanks for weighing in with your accolades.
