The Lyrics

I'm at badave.com
Yawn. . .Yawn. .Yawn. . .

Dylan's voice makes both my ears bleed
The slurring of a drunken bore
His harmonics, they're too bland for me
So here I am mocking Bob Dylan's chords.

Mock, sock, hocking on Dylan's songs
Drop, kick, hating, he's smoking bongs
Nauseating some say it's wrong,
It's been coming for far too long

He ran his rhymes into the ground
His biggest hits are good for snores
His song comes on, and my head pounds
So now I'm here begging, can't take no more

Mock, mock, mocking Bob Dylan's songs
Can't stand list'ning, his songs drone on
Rather pluck my eyes with metal tongs
Thank Bob your song ain't all that long

Yawn. . .

My Bob Dylan mockery is coming tomorrow... It's a bit longer, but it's also set to a disco backing track so at least that part of it is tolerable. Sorry for adding him into the Artistry, Dave!

I actually like a lot of the Dylan stuff; but also enjoyed your parody (555); there are others of the same mind.

Thanks Matty, Yeah, this allowed me enough room to express my opinion without having to stretch it at all. . .Timmy1000, a lot of people like or even love Bob Dylan, one wonderful thing about the world is the unique tastes each of us have. Most legends have critics, the difference is on most of them I'm not among them (I don't dislike The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Frank Sinatra, Frankie Vallie etc) but something about Dylan, his vocals, his less than stellar harmonica, just everything--not a fan of his, thanks for your comment, I'll make sure to check out something by you--I don't think I've seen your work yet, and appreciate your opinion--so think I'd probably enjoy reading some of your work.

You know I like this one, Dave. Short and sweet and to the point, something Dylan often lacked in his lyrics (though I still like a good number of his songs). 5s

oh, B.A.D, how could you? :) I know his voice and songs aren't for everybody, but he has a very unusual style. I know his songs are difficult to parody...5's ;)

(Artistry) Basically what Agri said (how many times I've said that, I'll never know. He's good at summing up parodies in a way that I can't add to. Wait, this is about you, not Agri...) AHEM, 555, etc, etc, you know the deal.

(Artistry) Loved the title sub, good assessment of the whiniest voice in rock.
