"Murderous Feelings"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

i woke up this morning
and all sense was gone
i dropped some acid to start my day
i lost myself in a familiar song
i clenched my eyes as i tripped away

its murderous feelings
when i hear that old song, they used to play
(murderous feelings)
i begin scheming
(murderous feelings)
and i see helter skelter's the way
i see my merry gang, stalking their prey

so many pop tunes have come and gone
their message fades as their fame runs dry
yet, i am enthralled by a certain song
its clear there are some that must simply die

its murderous feelings
when i hear that old song, they used to play
(murderous feelings)
i begin scheming
(murderous feelings)
and i see helter skelter's the way
i see my merry gang, stalking their prey

when i'm wired and thinking bold
i dive in the music and get insane
i dream of a world, where terror grows
i clench my eyes as i trip away
i trip away
i trip away

its murderous feelings
when i hear that old song, they used to play
(murderous feelings)
i begin scheming
(murderous feelings)
and i see helter skelter's the way
i see my merry gang, stalking their prey

So dropping acid's your parody writing secret huh? I can relate to the feeling of wanting to butcher some (bad) old stuff so 5s, though I think two chorus lines in brackets are one short here.

Great title and a funny parody, as usual. The singer of this song, Brad Delp, is now in a local Beatles tribute band called Beatlejuice. I saw them at a small club last year and got to talk to him. He said he'd much rather be doing the smaller venues. His voice was phenomenal. 555
