I then realized the old riff they play!

No coincidence today
Stole riffs from The Kingsmen, Tom Scholz cheap play!

But soon another one enters my brain...aaayyyy!

I thought it was outright hilarious. :) Especially the jump from the Kingsmen to Nirvana. Both of whom are better than anything Boston ever did - heh heh.

(Artistry) I personally don't really hear it...the Nirvana one, at least. I can't say anything about it sounding like Louie Louie when I've never heard that song. Still, interesting concept for a parody, and it paced well, so I call that worthy of a 555..

I have musical friends who will point out that song A is just song B redone. I almost never hear it. I must be musically blind. But, with only so many notes and ways to arrange them, it seems to me you might get a lot of unintentional similarities, especially if you stick to one type of music that stays within certain conventions. Oh, and fun parody.

(Artistry) So much of music is sampled in music. There was actually a study some British guy did called; "Everything Is A Remix". I like that though. It creates a nostalgic aspect to certain songs. I had never heard the similarities between these two songs until you pointed them out, which is funny because they are all on my iPod and get frequent playing time. Good work Aggy, I liked it a lot. And Rex, there's a channel on Youtube called VSauce that did a video that calculated the actual number of different sounding songs there can possibly be, ever.
