The Lyrics

You walked into the party
With a huge posse but all alone
You get prescription dope that keeps you so high
The courts can't get you with squat
You had one eye on the mirror
To watch out for rifle shots
And to you the girls dream that they're your partners
They are your partners but
You're insane
The voices in your head talk about you
You're insane
I wish that they'd have warned me about you
Bout you, bout you

You saw me several years ago
And now you won't ever leave
You convinced yourself that we'd had an affair
And in your mind I see you believe
But you do not stalk the ones you love
Like you were stalking me
I had some dreams you had poisoned my coffee
Poisoned my coffee cause
You're insane
You probably think that I'm out to get you
You're insane
You think the government's coming for you
Don't you? Don't you? Don't you?

You have daydreams that you race in the grand prix
And are an emcee, and
You're insane
You think the world just revolves around you
You're insane
I guess the police will have to take you
Take you, take you.

Well the night you woke up in Saratoga
Said your alter ego had fun
And the night you took me up to Nova Scotia
Cause those thick knots they wouldn't come undone
Say you see a vision so sublime
And that you know that with
Me beside you, taking care of you
Taking care of you cause
You're insane
They're probably gonna write books about you
You're insane
Get a shrink to help tighten that screw
That screw, that screw, that screw
I would love to get this recorded if anyone has a band that is willing. I sing and have a business model in mind for marketing the music through Kazaa and over the web, if you are interested, please feel free to contact me at andyjmoon@hotmail.com.

Like its apparent "narrator," Mariah Carey, this is so close to perfect. The pacing was a little off, but anything that makes Marshall Mathers III look like the pathetic pipsqueak he is, that's OK with me. I don't care how much money he has, or how bad the Tigers and Pistons are these days: Eminem is the REAL biggest loser in Detroit.

I meant the Tigers and the Lions. Though Pistons' management is pretty bad, firing a coach who won back-to-back Division Titles.

i don't think this is about eminem and mariah, maybe the author can clear that up. And if mariah was close to perfect she wouldn't be making really boring music and having to go to the hospital for exhaustion. and while eminem might have some personal issues, if you tried to follow along vocally with a recent eminem song or write a parody of a song like lose yourself without cheating on the rhyme scheme (i don't think thats been done) then you might realize he does have talent and deserves to be where he is as much as just about anybody in the music business

No, this wasn't about Eminem and Mariah (what happend with them?), it was inspired by the soon to be ex-husband of a neighbor of mine. I was thinking about a confrontation that I saw between them as I was watching "Dick" with Kirsten Dunst. The song at the end is "You're So Vain" and I started thinking about how nuts he is - presto, "You're Insane" was born.
