The Lyrics

DKTOS? Youtube it HERE

Failin' down offline,
Had my files, now no.
Where really did they go?
They're not showin'.
Maybe one small slice,
Signin' online's denied,
Rolled out, my IP's shot.
No route for goin',
Nothing to find,
Except the things in cache array
Lord, I paid them their money and on time.
And this is so lame,
It goes quittin' on each domain. (Yeah Yeah)
Four-oh-fours' jack display,
I can't get on today,
I've been offline too long.
I'm lookin' to be online,

(Short Piano Interlude)

Fallin' down offine,
Crummy how offline I go,
All day, way old it grows,
As I get madder.
And it's so lame this be,
My downed toy, pi-ty.
Just wantin' its company,
Just want dig'tal linking.
I tried a cold start,
But it failed to make me happy.
And four-oh-four's all it does return,
You know it makes it hard to play,
If you'd please, a fresh display. (Yeah Yeah)
I try but I'm refused,
Feel owned and so abused,
There's not anywhere to go.

I'm lookin' for some online
Rude time.

Ohh ohh, Fail on's, crummy,
Offline never felt so screwed.
Fail on's, crummy,
Offline why I'm dealt so rude?
Fail on, sucker,
Downtime ever quelled what's viewed.

I have been unable to locate a parody on this site done to this OS. I've searched both Commodores" and "Lionel Richie" and I also searched on the OS title - nada. I set it up for maximum exposure turning it into a "404" parody. Hope to see others use this OS in future writes.

Farce - Just another 404 - I'll have eight in the pool when this one gets submitted. Thanks for your comment.

Fiddlegirl - I was here for about the first two days of last week but I got rather busy, but I should be publishing for most of this week. It's nice to be missed, thanks.

Perhaps your computer was a Commodore 64? Make that a Commodore 555.

The only difference between 404 and 555 is your 151 WryQ!

More computer jargon! I barely know what a "mouse" is...lol. But when Guy writes, I never smell a "rat". Three fives! ;D

John - Love the comment - I never made the connection about Commodore. Thanks.

TJC - a 151 WryQ - Wry thanks! But I'd rather have some Wry hooch.

OMR - I like your comment. You're quick on the draw - and you don't need to be an IT geek to write great parody as you do. Thanks!

Good one, Amiga! Nice Satari! The Apple of my eye, Mac! (Is TT the only one besides Steve Jobs who recognized right off that a MacIntosh is a variety of apple? ... and who would buy a computer named Red Delicious, or even worse, Granny Smith?) 1000101011 or 22B, take your pick :)

TT - Fne puns on the old PC relics and I do speak both binary and hex. Thanks for the V's. I also speak Roman numerals. Thanks buddy.

Timmy - But blue is my favorite color, except on my display screen. Thanks.

Alvin - At least on Chucky's site when a broken link occurs you get something to amuse yourself rather than the cold "Hey Dummy" error message and you don't get kicked off the site.

JJ - If your getting lemons, make lemonade - thanks.

Christie - I just checked and the parody is now part of the 404 pool, So you may see it or any of the other seven I have out there. Hmmm - no errors but it's still a 404. =;-) Thanks!
