Very fun parody, Guy! Enjoy the kitty & the fives...

Now if you could just train your border collies to herd cats instead of sheep your problems would all be solved (fat chance of that)...fun write!!!...555!!!

We have a visiting cat at our house, but we don't have a dog, so it peacefully coexists with us. (Yeah, right!) 555, and the "Bowser the schnauzer" line made me crack up. Comparing a dog to the Koopa King?

You may surmise from some of my past parodies, I'm not a feline fancier...but, I cat see anything wrong with this parody..in fact, it's extremely well constructed...

Especially liked hairy phlegm. Great desciption of what I find on my kitchen floor every few weeks with blades of grass in them.

Alvin - This was a reworked parody - I improved it substantially. I did it for the ABC "O" round comps. Doublechecking the original I found missing lines and missing echo lyrics. You can't trust those lyrics writers on those lyrics sites. I get the lyrics and then listen to the OS on Youtube if I don't have my own copy and then painstakingly stop, rewind, relisten and edit until I get the OS lyrics perfecto. Then and only then can one write a proper parody. So I changed it up to new and improved and off it goes into comp. land. And I really do have a new kitten and border collies. I also had Phlegm spelled wrong in the original which you so kindly pointed out in your comment last time. Pleasey take my Thank you.

Mark - Thanks - The kitty is going to keep the varment population down. Recently a farm near my house was sold and made into a housing tract. All kinds of varments are showing up - even possums. He's going to be an indoor/outdoor feline just as soon as I can get him fixed so he stays out of fights with other cats.

That cat sounds like Garfield! We don't have cats, but we have 2 dogs. My Shih Tzu, Jasmine always barks at one of our neighbor's cat so it doesn't #2 in our front yard. I agree with you that it's a challenge to convince canines and felines to get along with each other. One of my friends in college had cats named: Snowflake, Kiddy Cat, and Ribbons. Great parody, Guy! 5 Fancy Feasts, 5 fish, and 5 catnips for your kitty-kitty-catty!

(ABC5O) I stand by my original rating. And I'll tell you about Bowser the Koopa King: He was the villain in the Super Mario games. No offense, but I don't think "frisky" is a good word for him. He needs something more like "tyrannical".

(ABC) Having been a cat owner half of my life, I feel the pain here. :) Once again, it's my preference for parodies that lean towards proper English, even for the sake of poesy. The bowowwow was inspired.

(ABC5 O) I liked this one from the dog's perspective; I think you captured that well. Pacing and phrasing are good on this too.

I agree with Agrimorfee on the fact that I would rather have a parody with proper english but I still liked this because I owned a cat that was just like this see "Damn Kitten"

You guys flame me for proper English but you never cite anything that annoys you. Next time you want to bad me for the grammar tell me what it is that you don't like so I'll know - not that it will make much difference. But it would be nice to know what breaks the lead in your pencils.

(ABC5) Yeah, the grammar's a bit off, but it doesn't annoy me as much as it does Agri and Matthias. Interesting idea here, pretty well executed and probably the only downside is that the OS isn't the one I was hoping it to be (I was expecting the Madness song, not whoever these guys are). 555

Being honest here, I had trouble following it because the lines didn't transition for me. I'm sorry Guy, I just couldn't get into this one at all--and I love cats and dogs, I just didn't get it. . .

At first I thought this would be set to Madness' song of the same name. Good one here Guy, but please don't refere to my cat as "that fat retard - that's my job. =)
