The Lyrics

...an homage to amiright...
wake up you sleepy heads
you need a dose of laughs instead
on computer, log and you're sure to see
parodies, breathlessly funny
just look and you'll bellow...riotously
a crack, oh so wry, deftly planned
reaching out for thee
all your nightmares slip away
when you look at what is on display

they will be punning too
you'll go "hee hee"...its fun for you
it brightens up a world, so glum
when the hooks are wound with the words undone
written till crazed...riddled some more
by an author's hand, who questions
what's the real words for ?
even strangers come this way
and it looks that many come to stay

all new witty things (all new witty things)
don't you know, they're writing these songs
so they come out insane
all new witty things (all new witty things)
don't you know, they're writing these songs
so they come out insane
yeah, they're raising cain
these parodies rate cause they're oh so superior

pages, they're filling
twisting phrases in different ways
they kill themselves every day for you
their goal is just to hear your bays
if you've got the itch, they'll keep you amused
loco rapiers have become unloosed
even stranger every day
and it looks as if they're here to stay

all new witty things (all new witty things)
don't you know, they're writing these songs
so they come out insane
all new witty things (all new witty things)
don't you know, they're writing these songs
so they come out insane
yeah, they're raising cain
these parodies rate cause they're oh so superior

I agree, laughter does help to brighten up the world (seeing as I'm from England a bit of sunshine wouldn't go amiss either) - if we weren't allowed to laugh and make fun of things it would be like a world full of religious extremists

Brilliant job. ChuckyG does deserve a toast of some kind, after all...if it wasn't for him this site wouldn't exist.

You're welcome. But it's good ol Chucky who deserves all the thanks. ChuckyG truly is a genius. We're all gonna miss him when he dies And by that I mean if he dies, which I don't think he will because he'll be here for a loong time.
