The Lyrics

Recently Mr. Obama admitted to having a smoke occasionally, but he claims he is 95% cured of the smoking habit. He also claims to not smoke in front of his family, which is good. I couldn’t imagine trying to quit with a demanding job like that, so I give him credit for trying. Good luck to him and anyone else trying to kick this nasty habit. I thank God every day that He helped me quit 16 years ago. This is just my take on what it might have been like when Mrs. Obama found out that her husband was puffing on those coffin nails again.
Smokin’ Obama

Barack gave up tobacco
For the smokes he would no more pine
But then after just a short while
What is it that we find?
To the shock of young mothers
The word has just gone around
Somehow it all came undone
Saw them butts on the ground
Smokin’ Obama, to give up he tried, smokin’ Obama

The wife’s pissed at Obama house
She cried with an awful sound
Screaming kids were running in and out
Throwing fits on the ground
When it all was over
He had to find another place
Smoke time was running out
It seemed that he would lose this race
Smokin’ Obama, his wife is asking why, smokin’ Obama

He ended up at the Grand Hotel
And he started smokin’ squares
And with the Secret Ser-vice dudes just outside
Huh, he smoked ‘em all right there
With a few more nights, a few more meds
He’ll try to beat them yet
No matter what the odds are this time, huh
I know, I know I'm takin’ that bet
Smokin’ Obama, you know we’re gonna spy, smokin’ Obama

And to think... this is the guy who signed a bill restricting tobacco advertising more than ever and banning fruit- and candy-flavored tobacco!

What the 3 above me said. This was probably your best parody ever, Blackjack, and 5s for you. Unfortunately, I couldn't give up the devil's weed, so I'm still supporting the tobacco farmers.

alvin: no snuff parody, the CIA monitors this site!!!

Mark: SMOKIN' is good, thanks.

Amanda: I think BO needs a candy cigarette!

Andria: Thank you. Don't give up, you can do it. I tried many times.

Thanks for the reassurance on quitting smoking, Blackjack, but the problem I have is that I have a hard time finishing what I start (such as the two computers full of partly-finished parodies in my condo, to name one of many examples), and that I am either busy or asleep most of the time.
