Original Song Title:

"Zip-a-dee-do-dah"

Original Performer:

Disney Favorites

Parody Song Title:

"Zip-a-dee-do-dah"

Parody Written by:

Paul Young

The Lyrics

Very few changes are made. Note that the song title hasn't changed.
Zip-a-dee-do-dah!
Zip-a-dee-a.
My oh, my what a horrible day!
Plenty of storm clouds headed my way!
Zip-a-dee-do-dah;
Zip-a-dee-a!
There's a raven on my shoulder!
It's the truth;
It's actual!
Everything is unsatisfactual!
Zip-a-dee-do-dah,
Zip-a-dee-a!
Horrible feeling;
Horrible day!
Very morbid. Unlike the original, which was very up-beat.

"Very few changes are made"...you said it yourself, Paul. A parody is more than just altering a (very) few words, you need to create a different song from the OS. This feels like no effort was put into it at all...must try harder

What Kristof said. I'm guessing this paces right, and flipping a song on itself is a viable means of parody, but overall a rather weak effort. 543.
