Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Dzhokar Tzarnaev on the Cover of the Rolling Stone"

Parody Written by:

Hu's On First

The Lyrics

Ha ha ha, I don't believe it
Da, da, ah, ah don't touch it
Hey, man, I'm Dzhokhar, tell them who I am...

Well I'm a young mad bomber and I'm far from somber
'Cause I'm full of rage, y'know?
See the Yanks are killing all us innocent Muslims
Causin' bloodshed wherever they go
Well I smoked lots of weed but that ain't what I need
'Cause there's one thing I've never known
Is the fame that'll getcha when you get your picture
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rollin' Stone...) Wanna see my picture on the cover
(Stone...) Wanna buy five copies for my mother...(Yes)
(Stone...) Wanna see my scary face
On the cover of the Rollin' Stone...(That's a very very good idea)

Well now I'm fixin' to get people to listen
There's a sure-fire road to fame
I'll set a bomb off down in Boston
Then everyone'll know my name
Well it's all designed to blow folks' minds
But their minds won't really be blown
Like the blow that'll getcha when they see my picture
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rollin' Stone...) Wanna see our pictures on the cover
(Stone...) Wanna buy five copies for my mother...(Yeah)
(Stone...) They will see a terrorist
On the cover of the Rollin' Stone

Hey, I know how
Build a bomb
(BOOM! Scream! Scream!)
That's beautiful

Now I got some teenage blue-eyed groupies
Who tweet that they think I look cute
Well the ones who said terror don't pay
Their point is clearly moot

Now they copycats are gonna try and try
'Cause I know that I am not alone
They will bomb more races so they'll get their faces
On the cover of the Rolling Stone

(Rollin' Stone...) Wanna see their pictures on the cover
(Stone...) Wanna buy five copies for our mothers...(Yeah)
(Stone...) Now we'll see some scary mugs
On the cover of the Rollin' Stone

I don't know why we ain't on the cover, baby...

(Stone...) Wanna buy five copies for my mother

We're beautiful suspects

(Stone...) Wanna see my face "blown up"

I ain't kiddin', we would make a beautiful cover...

On the cover of the Rollin' Stone...

Big blast, right up front, man...
I can see it now, we'll be up in the front...
We're the bomb!
Ahh, beautiful...

This was an obvious topic for a parody. Well done. I was once mentioned in the Wall Street Journal, but no pictures. Even Rolling Stone couldn't make this mug look like anything but a mug shot.

A very well done parody. I am still reeling from that poor decision on behalf of The Rolling Stone on doing that cover.

Yes, Rolling Stone taught the new generation well: terror pays. I think that was the motivation of so many terrorists, to achieve what Dzhokar did. His life is all anti-climax now (,'-p)

Good stuff, HOF.

@Patrick - for what exploit(s) were you mentioned in the WSJ? Is there a link?
Patrick - July 19, 2013 - Report this comment
I was interviewed by the Kansas City Star regarding my experiences in the 1993 flood. I told them I was moving away from the flood zone. The WSJ picked up the story and included it with other flood coverage.
