The Lyrics

anyone ever go out for a long night of drinking, and then wake up in a motel next to a girl you dont know...neither have I...but if you have, this is your song...
On a bed in New Jearsey
Vodka in my hair
Warm smell of Techillia
rising up through the air
turned my head in a distance
saw a freightening sight
with my head heavey and my vision dimmed
what had I done last night?

There she slept in her own space
This just cannot be swell
I was thinking to myself
When I will get home, it will be hell
Then I saw on the table were my car keys
Then on the door knocked the manager, thought I heard him say

Welcome to the motel, I dont know her
such a dreadful place,
damn, what is that taste?
Why did I check in at the motel, I dont know her
I just drank too much beer, hope shes not a queer

The bathroom's severly twisted
bear bottles under the bed
her purse has lots of pretty pretty toys
and make up kits
yet she sleeps through the day light
there in the bed
I'll try to remember, wheather or not we had sex
so I called out to wake her
"what happoned last night?"
she said, "all I know's I drank a lot of beer, now pay me my price!"
and just then nature was calling from far away
wish I was at home with my wife
instead of in this place

Welcome to the motel, I dont know her
such a dreadful place,
damn, what is that taste?
Why did I check in at the motel, I dont know her
I just drank too much beer, hope shes not a queer

her clothes were revealing
what happoned last night
and she said, "before I put on my face dear, wont you pay me my price?"
and after 10 short payments
she told me I was free
I had to get right to outside
but I just cant find my keys
next thing I remember
I was running for the door
had to find a passage way back
to the place I was before
"relax!" siad the woman
as she threw me my keys
"youre plate number's 2-0-6-3-9,
I'll cover repair fees!"

Spellcheck man.

You're missing two lines in the chorus...
Mike Florio - June 04, 2003 - Report this comment
Rockprincess, Im not missing those lines, theyre just the repeat of the lines before them...and me, as an underachiever, only usually writes the main part, or the lead singer's parts, while writing a parody...and Jeff, I must say that yet again, I completely forgot to spell check, I have to get myself out of this habit!

I love the "Hotel California," but sometimes love just ain't enough. Be a boy of summer and keep on writing, please. Maybe you will come up with something funnier. And Billy, I never thought you'd do a parody that wasn't funny nor did I think you'd do a nonsense parody.

Thank you Mr Henley...I like watching the concert video for "Hotel California" and you have a guitar, but youre not playing it, youre holding it upside down and hitting it like a drum...not used to guitar, are you? PS: Im Michael Florio, not Billy...
