So I popped this in my CD player, and, without the original lyrics in front of me, this is what I deciphered from the lyrics Elton sang. This is what I heard, anyway. Only a few lines remain the same as the original, so I guess I understood some of the original song. Download or listen to the original song and you will find that a lot of lyrics can be misheard from this song. P.S. this is my second parody of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. P.P.S. Don't ask me what "vodker" and "townics" are, I swear, that's what he's singing.

Well, I always thought in "Someone saved my life tonight" he was singing "Someone saved my life tonight, Sugarbread (sugarbread, oooooo)"

I always thought it was "Goodbye, Oedipus Robe..." Well done.
Elton did win a few John Fogerty Awards for hardest performer to understand. "She's got electric boobs..." instead of "boots." Sad songs may say so much, but that doesn't mean we know what they say. Of course, with the onset of rap, that award is retired.
I always heard the line 'back to the howlin' old owl in the woods, hunting the horny back toad' as 'back to the cabin that's out in the woods, having the harralay back towed'! Don't ask me what a harrarlay is or why it's being back towed!
