The Lyrics

There must be a reason Stevie Nicks never plays onstage. This might be it.
Piano sits like a stone on the floor
And wouldn't you love to play it?
You got to try to just practice more
For lessons, got to pay it

Music life, you've never seen
Woman, eardrums made of tin
Would you play if the notes were just seven?
Give those tunes a spin

Hits the keys like a dog with a bone
And then there is the boners
She plays those scales with no sense of tone
And fills the room with groaners

Music life, you've never seen
Woman, eardrums made of tin
Would you play if the notes were eleven?
Give those songs a spin
Making such a din

Piano, piano, piano, piano

It sounds just like hell through the night
And wouldn't you love to kill her
She makes a noise like two cats in fight
And sings like Phyllis Diller

Music life, you've never seen
Woman, eardrums made of tin
Would you play if the notes were eleven?
Give those keys a rest
Making such a pest

Piano, piano, piano, piano

Owwwwwwwwwwwwww!!

Take it back
Take it back, oh my!
Take it back
Take it back, oh my!
Please no mo'
Please take up the banjo
Please no mo'
Please take up the banjo

Yeah, I've seen her "tinkle" on a piano I little bit during an interview about the making of "Rumours" (A very interesting show, there's a DVD out there about it)...and she is no great shakes on it...and it's pretty obvious she knows it, too...at least they HAD Christine McVie all those years...she could really play - and sing at the same time, too...5's ~ ~ ~

Funny stuff! Flow really well. Ripping on Stevie Nicks is always fun. Did you ever see that South Park where they put a goat on stage and everyone thinks it's her?

Strange, I like Stevie's solo stuff, but most of the Mac songs I like have Christine on the lead. Stevie's piano skills? They're on the edge of 17... on a scale of 1 to 100. (Like mine are any better.)

One joke I use when playing bass is to play on "G" boom-bum- boom (space) boom-bum-boom" then play the same on "F" and announce that I'm playing the bassline for all of Stevies' hits. (Try it, it's simple)

Great concept. I skipped over your top comments at first, so I didn't realize it was a dig at SN -- didn't realize her keyboard skilz was lacking. But very, very funny either way.

Its strange how the not so "talented" musicians in bands often become famous, while the more musically skilled ones like McVie often languish in semi-obscurity. Ms. Nicks has an unusual voice though. That is probably why she made it in the biz.
