Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I've just closed my mouth again
Climbed aboard the creamed beaver train
Saliva take away my hunger of today
And leave more on my behind

Ooo-ooo
Creamed beaver
Tasty game, you can be my food tonight
Ooo-ooo
Creamed beaver
I believe with my sauce you're tasting right

Make me sigh with your furry eyes
Lay there on my serving plate
Cross my tastebuds of fantasy
Help me to increase body weight

Ooo-ooo
Creamed beaver
Gourmet dish, I could eat you through the night
Ooo-ooo
Creamed beaver
Tenderized with my creamy sauce inside

Though dessert may be coming soon
Refill my glass of wine
Roll over on my plate, and show me your moons
Is meat there on your underside?

Ooo-ooo
Creamed beaver
Left your lodge and became my food tonight
Ooo-ooo
Creamed beaver
Filled you up with my creamy sauce delight

( repeat and fade: )

Creamed beaver...
Creamed beaver...
Creamed beaver...

You should open a "Road Kill" cafe with all your parody dishes on the menu. I'd go there. (Note to Mari---post it!)
Johnny D - January 04, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks, Rick! Oooo, a mystery.....are you telling Mari to post a parody that you weren't sure would get past the censor until you read this little gourmet-double-entendre of my own? Heh heh heh....

Another great job, Johnny! You and animals, I don't know what's going on there. (Unrelated side note: I wouldn't have been able to vote fairly on this parody if I hadn't bought that Wayne's World soundtrack all those years ago.)

Thanks Meriadoc - and you're correct - all that's necessary is to change one's font to Camouflage Bold.
Peregrin - January 06, 2004 - Report this comment
Great! I also would give you 5's for your font comment!

Ooooooohhhh!!! I just now got it... and as much as I hate to admit it, I wouldn't have gotten it, yet, if it hadn't been for the comments. (Boy, do I feel stupid. This may be the biggest "duh!" moment I've ever had.) Great job, Johnny D.!

Johnny D - Ahh, JOHHHHHNNNNYYY!!!!! what are we going to DO with you? ChuckyG is gonna havta create a column to the right of "Lots" on the voting choices and just put "Reserved for Johnny D" as the heading. You know with all this gushing praise dripping out of this end section of your "Creamed Beaver" submission you're liable to end up getting a big head. I'm afraid someday you will leave yourself wide open for someth...wait, do I really want to finsih that remark? Well, anyway, it could be hard to swallow. Now this is what I mean when I'm talking about having a "Pornographic Memory". Oh, boy...good to be back...was going thru parody withdrawls since 12/31.
Johnny D - January 10, 2004 - Report this comment
Aww gee, Paul, thanks so much, dude - and welcome back!

(FOOD) Funny, but the connotations of the song due to..'um, modern vernacular usage, shall we say?...just sounds so unappetizing. 545
Johnny D - November 09, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks, Agrimorfee....well, you know the old adage, there's no accounting for taste....

(FOOD) Hopefully the beaver isn't apt at felling trees. ;) On a completely different note, can somebody please explain to me what this double-entendre everybody keeps talking about? This double meaning. About a creamed beaver. In detail.
Stuart McArthur - November 11, 2004 - Report this comment

(FOOD) what I said back in January, except I'm past the parody withdrawls I was in at that particular moment. Hmmm...this is a different type of food than most of the food parody entries are about. But "creamed beaver" can certainly hit the spot under the right circumstances...5's to replace those wiped out in the Vote Tab Crash of 07/28...

An oldie-but-goodie from JD! I was throwing around some ideas for this song and, of course, "creamed beaver" came, err, floated through my mind. Fun stuff, Johnny Double Entendre. 5s

I still love this many years later and get even more of your double entenres, if possible! 5's to replace, in case.
